'블로그'를 활용한 기행문 쓰기 지도 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

One communicates with others in various ways. People express their thoughts in language or in action. Writing is another way to express one’s thought or to communicate with other people. Writing was considered as a tool to represent knowledge or to keep memory in old days. However, writing today is believed as a social skill to communicate with others today.
Whereas the importance of writing is stressed, teaching of writing is not performed well in active classes. Although Korean students learn how to write for twelve years at their schools, experts point out that they cannot even introduce themselves well in writing. Some indicate the curriculum or the condition of classes as a problem. This study is to show the educational problems of teaching of writing. Moreover, this study will suggest detailed methods for better teaching of writing.
Chapter 2 will observe characteristics of teaching of writing and its problems. This chapter will propose the internet media as a means to solve the problems of teaching of writing. Chapter 3 will introduce characteristics of travels and blogs as a practical way to solve the problems of teaching of writing. A teaching-learning model of writing travels using blogs will be provided. Finally, based on the contents of chapter 2 and chapter 3, chapter 4 will present a teaching-learning plan with process of writing travels using blogs. This plan will be helpful for active teachers.
This study is designed to help students to write a traveler’s journal, which is a practical writing, using blogs, which is familiar to them. This experience will make students feel familiar with the writing activity itself. Writing activity should be continued even after classes. Writing classes at school should be connected to writing in daily life, and students should form the writing habit. This study is important for designing ways to have students improve their writing ability.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리는 사람들과 다양한 의사소통을 한다. 말로써 자신의 생각을 전달하기도 하고, 행동을 통해 표현하기도 한다. 그리고 자신의 생각을 표현하고 사람들과 의사소통을 할 수 있는 또 다른 매개체로 쓰기가 있다. 예전의 쓰기는 남기고 싶은 추억이나 지식 등은 표현하는 수단으로 많이 인식되었지만 지금은 사람들과 의사소통할 수 있는 사회적 기능으로써 쓰기가 중요시되고 있는 현실이다.
그러나 쓰기의 중요성에 비해 쓰기 교육은 잘 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정이다. 그로인해 초·중·고 12년 동안 쓰기를 배웠지만 자기소개서 하나도 제대로 쓰지 못하는 문제가 발생되었다. 그 이유로는 교육 과정 자체가 문제점으로 꼽히기도 하고, 쓰기 교육을 진행하는 학교 여건상의 문제나 수업 형태가 문제점으로 꼽히기도 한다.
본 연구에서는 이러한 쓰기 교육의 문제점을 지적하고, 쓰기 교육이 제대로 실현되려면 과연 어떻게 해야 할지, 그 구체적인 방법을 제시하고자 한다.
이를 위해 Ⅱ장에서는 쓰기 교육의 성격과 문제점을 연결하여 제시하였고, Ⅲ장에서는 쓰기 교육의 문제점을 해결하는 구체적인 방법으로 기행문과 블로그의 성격을 살펴본 후, 블로그를 활용한 기행문 쓰기 교수-학습 모형을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 Ⅳ장에서는 Ⅱ장과 Ⅲ장의 내용을 바탕으로 블로그를 활용한 기행문 쓰기 교수-학습 과정안을 제시하여 학교 현장에서 쓰일 수 있도록 도움을 주고자 하였다.
본 연구는 학생들이 어렵게만 느끼는 쓰기 교육을 학생들에게 친숙한 매체인 블로그를 활용하여 실생활 글쓰기인 기행문을 쓰도록 지도함으로써 쓰기 교육에 좀 더 가깝게 다가갈 수 있도록 도움을 주었다는 데 의의가 있다. 또한 학교 쓰기 교육이 일회성으로 끝나는 것을 지양하기 위하여 학교에서 배운 쓰기 교육과 실생활 글쓰기를 연관 짓고, 그를 통해 학생들이 쓰기의 습관을 형성하고, 일상적인 글쓰기 실력을 향상시킬 수 있다는 점도 의의가 있다고 본다.
