북한의 ‘3대혁명 문학’에 나타난 갈등양상 연구 : 1970년대 『조선문학』에 실린 단편소설을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 1970년대 북한의 과도기적 상황을 전반적으로 살펴볼 수 있는 ‘3대혁명운동’을 중심으로 그동안 정치· 경제· 사회 분야에서만 연구되어 온 ‘3대혁명’에 대해 문학적인 측면으로 살펴보는 것에 목적을 두고 연구를 시작하였다.
본 연구를 위해서 북한의 대표적인 월간문예지인 『조선문학』에 실린 1971년부터 1980년까지의 단편소설 366편 가운데 ‘3대혁명 문학’이라 분류할 수 있는 120편을 선택하여 기본 자료로 삼았다.
본 논문은 『조선문학』에 실린 10년간의 단편소설을 분석하여 첫째, 북한 문학에 반영된 다양한 삶의 모습을 바탕으로 북한에 대해 전반적인 이해를 넓혀 볼 것이고, 둘째, ‘3대혁명 문학’에 반영된 갈등 양상과 해결 방식을 통해 당 시대의 문제점을 파악해보고, 그 갈등이 사회에 미친 영향에 대해 고찰해 볼 것이며, 셋째, 이데올로기의 대립으로 북한에 대한 연구가 이루어지지 않아 반쪽짜리 연구만 이루어져왔던 과거의 문학사를 지금부터라도 적극적인 북한 문학에 대한 연구를 실천함으로써 공백 상태였던 문학사의 절반을 채워나가는 데 초점을 두고자 한다.
본 논문의 Ⅱ장에서는 북한 문학에 대한 이해를 돕기 위해 그 사회의 시대적 배경을 먼저 알아야 할 필요가 있다는 전제 하에 1970년대 시대적 배경을 살펴보았고, ‘3대혁명운동’의 기원과 발전에 대해 기술하여 ‘3대혁명운동’의 위치 변화와 그에 따라 사회에 미치는 영향력의 추이를 서술하였다.
Ⅲ장에서는 작품에 드러난 갈등 양상을 세대교체에 따른 갈등, 당원과 ‘3대혁명소조원’의 갈등, 지식인과 비지식인의 갈등, 공업화·기술화에 따른 갈등으로 나누어 고찰하였고, 작품의 서사를 바탕으로 파악한 갈등의 현상을 각각 분석하여 당시 사회의 목적이나 문제점, 괴리현상 등을 고찰하여 그 결과를 바탕으로 ‘3대혁명 문학’만의 특징이 무엇인지 도출하였다.
그리고 Ⅳ장에서는 Ⅲ장의 연구를 바탕으로 ‘3대혁명 문학’이 지니는 의의에 대해 살펴보았다.
1970년대 ‘3대혁명 문학’의 연구는 1970년대 북한의 중요 정책이었던 ‘3대혁명’을 문학적으로 파악하여 북한의 전반적인 모습을 보다 다양하고 심도 있게 살펴볼 수 있는 토대가 될 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is aimed at considering 'Three Revolution Movements' by and large, from which we can inspect closely the transient phenomenon of North Korea in the 1970s in terms of literatures which have been studied only in the field of politics, economics, and social studies up to date.
To this end, this study collected 120 short novels which could be classified into 'Three Revolutions Literature' among 366 short novels given in 「Joseon Literature」, a representative monthly literary magazine of North Korea, from 1970 to 1980 to use them as basic materials.
This thesis will analyze short novels given in 「Joseon Literature」 for 10 years, in order to 1) expand general understanding of North Korea based on various aspects of life reflected in the literatures of North Korea, 2) identify problems of the times through the aspect of conflicts reflected in 'Three Revolution Literatures' and problem-solving methods to investigate the influence of those conflicts on the society, 3) fill in the half of literary history of North Korea in the past which has been in such a blank state because there was no study on North Korea owing to antagonistic ideology by carrying out a study on North Korean literature positively from now on.
Chapter 2 examines the historical background of the 1970s on the premise that a priority should be given to knowledge of the historical background of the society in order to help us understand North Korean Literature, and describes the origin and development of 'Three Revolutions' to indicate the change of its position and resultant shift of its influence on the society.
Chapter 3 investigates the aspects of conflicts found in the novels by dividing them into conflict according to shift of generations, conflict between party members and 'small group members of Three Revolutions', conflict between intellectuals and non-intellectuals, and conflict according to industrialization and technologization. Besides, it analyzes each phenomenon of conflicts based on the narration of the novels to inquires into the social purpose or problems, estranged phenomenon, etc. And based on the result, the very characteristics of 'Three Revolutions Literature' are inferred.
Chapter 4 considers the significance of 'Three Revolutions Literature' based on the analysis of Chapter 3.
The studies on 'Three Revolutions Literature' in the 1970s will form a groundwork for more various and in-depth investigation of the general aspects of North Korea by identifying 'Three Revolutions', which was an important policy of North Korea in the 1970s, in terms of literature.
