장애아가족 지원서비스에 관한 연구 : 가족 휴식지원 서비스 사례를 중심으로 = A Study of a Support Service for Handcapped Child's Family : Focus on family rest supporting cases

국문 초록 (Abstract)

장애아동을 양육하는 가족들의 다양한 욕구와 현재 지원 받고 있는 서비스의 만족도를 조사하고 문헌고찰을 통하여 외국의 장애아동 가족지원 정책과 실천을 알아보아 한국 실정에 맞는 장애아동 가족지원 방향을 제시하는데 목적을 두고 있다.
장애아가족휴식지원자 교육을 받은 돌보미가 파견되어 장애아가족 휴식지원서비스를 제공받았거나 현재 제공받고 있는 15가정을 대상으로 2-3회 심층면접을 통하여 자료를 수집하였다
본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같은 결론을 내릴 수 있다.
첫째 장애아가족의 일반적인 특성은 한 부모가족이거나 부모가 장애를 지닌 가족이 많으며 맞벌이가족으로 구성되어 있다. 장애정도는 지적장애아와 자폐성장애아, 뇌병변장애아이다.
둘째 장애아가족휴식지원에서 초기 돌보미 방문에 대해서 거부적이었다. 그러나 방문 시간이 지날수록 돌보미들의 역할에 대한 만족도는 매우 높게 나타났으나 돌보미 파견시간의 할애정도가 적다는 불만을 말하고 있다.
셋째 돌보미의 역할로 장애아가족의 분위기와 양육자의 정서상태가 안정되어졌다. 따라서 돌보미의 파견시간과 방문횟수를 늘여주어야 한다는 요구가 대다수이다.
한편 장애아부모에게도 양육지식을 습득할 수 있는 기회를 마련해주기를 요구하는 가정이 많았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to suggest a way of supporting handicapped children's family suitable to Korean situation. In order to do that, I collected data about needs of families with the handicapped children and about degree of satisfaction with current services for the handicapped children. In addition, I also refer to the policies and practices of other countries through literature review.
Data were collected through 2~3 times depth interviews for 15 families which have used or are using rest supporting services for the handicapped children by trained personnel.
The results are followings:
First, general characteristics of the handicapped children's family are of single parents, of handicapped parents, or of working parents. Of subjects, the kinds of handicap are mainly intellectual, autistic, or of brain diseases.
Second, the initial response to the visiting services for the handicapped children was rejective. However, as the visiting duration period gets longer, the degree of satisfaction with the roles of visiting personnel goes up, and complains the short period of services.
Third, the visiting personnel contributes to favorable turn of familial atmosphere and increased rearer's emotional stability. Majority asked the increase of period and frequency of visiting time. On the other hand, some of families asked to give an opportunity for the parents to learn knowledge of rearing the handicapped children.
