희망, 공감, 사회적 지지가 저소득 가정 아동의 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 저소득 가정 아동의 삶에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 요인인 희망과 공감, 사회적 지지가 심리적 안녕감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위한 목적으로 실시하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 대구광역시 수성구에 소재하고 있는 영구임대 아파트(3개)에 거주하고 저소득 가정의 아동 118명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 자료의 분석 방법은 희망, 공감, 사회적 지지와 심리적 안녕감 간에 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 희망, 공감, 사회적 지지가 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 중다회귀 분석을 실시하였다.
분석결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 희망, 공감, 사회적 지지와 심리적 안녕감 간의 관계를 살펴보면 희망, 공감, 사회적 지지요인 모두 심리적 안녕감과 정적 상관관계가 있으며, 특히, 희망요인이 가장 높은 관계를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 그 다음이 사회적 지지요인, 공감요인이 높은 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 희망, 공감, 사회적지지가 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보면, 사회적 지지요인이 유의미한 예측 변인으로 나타났으며, 사회적 지지요인은 심리적 안녕감을 25.2% 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 희망요인과 공감요인은 유의미한 예측 변인이 아닌 것으로 나타났다.
이러한 결과를 종합하면 저소득 가정 아동들에게 희망, 공감, 사회적 지지 중 사회적 지지요인만이 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 중요변인이며, 따라서, 저소득 가정 아동의 사회적 지지체계를 구체적으로 파악하여 효과적으로 개입한다면 이들의 심리적 안녕감 증진에 있어 중요한 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of hope, empathy and social support, the factors that affect positively the life of low income family children, on psychological well-being. The subject of the study was 118 low income family children living in 3 permanent rental apartment houses located in Suseong-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City. As for data analysis, correlation analysis was administered to investigate the relationship between hope, empathy and social support and psychological well-being, and multiple regression analysis was administered to investigate the effect that the hope, empathy and social support have on the psychological well-being.
Followings are the results of the analysis.
First, all the hope, empathy and social support had static relationship with psychological well-being, and especially hope element was the highest, then social support and empathy in order.
Secondly, as for the effect that the hope, empathy and social support have on the psychological well-being, social support element turned out to be the significant predicting variable, explaining the psychological well-being by 25.2%. The elements of hope and empathy turned out not to be a significant predicting variable.
In conclusion, for low income family children, only social support element out of hope, empathy and social support is an important variable affecting the psychological well-being. Therefore, if the social supporting system for low income family children is grasped concretely and intervened efficiently, it might play an important role in promoting their psychological well-being.
