어린이도서관 웹사이트 콘텐츠 분석 : 6대 광역시 공공도서관을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 전국 6대 광역시 소재의 어린이도서관 웹사이트 콘텐츠를 분석함으로써 향후 모든 어린이들이 이용이 가능한 특색있고 다양한 콘텐츠로의 개선을 기대하며 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하고 분석하였다.
첫째, 어린이도서관 웹콘텐츠에는 어떠한 것이 있으며, 포털 사이트에서의 어린이도서관 웹사이트 검색은 어느 정도인가?
둘째, 어린이도서관 웹사이트의 메인메뉴와 서브메뉴의 정보는 웹사이트 원래의 목적에 부합되는 정보인가?
셋째, 어린이도서관 웹사이트에서 제공하는 장애어린이를 위한 유형별 콘텐츠에는 어떤 것들이 있는가?
연구 방법은 대구광역시를 비롯한 전국의 6대 광역시 소재 어린이도서관 17개소의 웹사이트에서 메인메뉴와 서브메뉴로 한정하여 분석하고, 도메인 검색은 분야별 5위까지의 순위사이트를 기준으로 하였으며, 본 연구의 분석결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 콘텐츠 제공업체의 의존성이 매우 강하며 이에 따른 어린이도서관이 위치한 지역적 특성이 가미된 다양한 콘텐츠 항목의 발굴이 미비하고, 포털 사이트를 통한 도서관 웹사이트의 적극적 홍보를 위한 방안 마련이 필요하다.
둘째, 웹사이트 콘텐츠 운영이 관리자 편의의 구성으로 되어 있다. 어린이들의 관점에서 본 높낮이의 적절한 조정이 필요하며, 웹사이트 본래의 목적과 부합되는 순수 우리말의 메뉴 제목 선정과 어린이들과의 공감대 형성을 위한 대화공간 제공이 아쉽다.
셋째, 장애를 가진 어린이들을 위한 콘텐츠가 전무하다. 장애어린이를 위한 다양한 콘텐츠 제공 방안에 대해 심도있게 연구하고 설계되어야 한다. 어린이도서관의 모든 콘텐츠는 웹사이트를 방문하는 모든 어린이들이 이용대상이 되어야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study has established and analyzed problems as follow expecting improvements for a variety of contents that are peculiar which all children's can use in the future through analysis of website contents of the children's libraries.
First, what kind of contents are there in children's library website, and how children's can search the library at the portal sites?
Second, is the information of main menu and submenu of children's library website appropriate to the original purpose?
Third, what kind of typical contents are there for disabled kids provided in children's library website?
The research was performed analyzing the main menu and sub-menu at the 17 websites of children's libraries in 6 metropolitan cities throughout the country including Daegu metropolitan city, and domain search was done from 1st to 5th ranking sites for each field, and the analysis results are as follow.
First, they highly depended on the contents providers, and they hardly discovered a variety of contents that had local specialties where children's libraries are located according to this, and we need a plan to actively show the websites through the portal sites.
Second, contents are operated for the convenience of the manager. Appropriate adjustment is needed for the eye-level of the children, and conversation spaces are highly demanded for forming sympathy among the kids and selecting the menu title only in Korean that fits to the original purpose.
Third, there are no contents for disabled children's. A plan for a variety of contents provision for disabled children's must be researched and designed intensely. All the contents for children's library must be available to all children's who visit the website.
