내외통제성과 비합리적 신념이 목회자 부인의 스트레스에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 내외통제성과 비합리적 신념이 목회자 부인의 스트레스에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 대구·경북지역에서 사역하는 목회자 부인 48명을 연구의 대상으로 하였으며, 측정도구는 Rotter의 내외통제성 검사, William Glasser의 내부-외부통제 검사, Ellis의 비합리적 신념 검사, 스트레스 검사이다. 수집된 자료의 분석은 SPSS통계 프로그램을 사용하였으며, 분석방법은 상관분석과 단순회귀분석, 중다회귀분석을 사용하였다.
분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, Rotter의 내적통제 신념이 높을수록 목회자 부인은 스트레스를 덜 받는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, Glasser의 내부통제 신념이 높을수록 목회자 부인은 스트레스를 덜 받고, 반대로 목회자 부인의 외부통제 신념이 높을수록 스트레스를 많이 받는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 목회자 부인이 Ellis의 비합리적인 신념을 가질 때 스트레스를 많이 받는 것으로 나타났다.
즉 목회자 부인이 어떤 신념을 가지느냐에 따라서 스트레스를 경험하는 것이 달라질 수 있다는 것을 의미하며, Glasser의 외부통제와 Ellis의 비합리적인 신념을 가질 때 스트레스를 더 많이 경험하게 된다는 것이다. 따라서 목회자 부인들은 외부통제와 비합리적인 신념을 버리고 내부통제의 전환을 통해 스트레스를 덜 받고 좀 더 행복하게 생활할 수 있다는 것을 시사한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of internal and external control and irrational beliefs on the stress of pastor's wife. For the purpose, the subject of the study was 48 pastor's wives living in Daegu and Gyeongbuk area. Measuring scale was Rotter's internal and external control inspection, Ellis's irrational beliefs inspection, and stress inspection.
The collected data were analyzed by SPSS statistic program and the method of analysis was correlation analysis, simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. Followings are the results of the analysis.
First, the higher the internal control conviction of Rotter is, the less the pastor's wives get stress. Secondly, the higher the internal control conviction of Glasser is, the less the pastor's wives get stress, on the contrary, the higher the external control conviction of pastor's wives is, the higher they get stress. Lastly, when pastor's wives have the irrational belifs of Ellis, they get stress a lot.
It means that pastor's wives' experience of stress depends on which conviction they have and when they have external control of Glasser and irrational belifs of Ellis, they come to experience more stress. It suggests that pastor's wives can get less stress and live happier life, when they throw away external control and irrational belifs and turn into internal control.
