비례를 적용한 미술관 웹사이트 디자인 연구 : 16:9 화면비율 중심으로

Nowadays the web sites are designed in size of 1024?768 pixels and those have a tendency to change by little effect that monitors become wider and wider. As the existing method of broadcasting image output changes from analog method to HD method, also the computer display ratio that is concerned about multimedia environment importantly is being turned out with 16:9 wide. This research suggests the web design modular which is applied a golden proportion in ratio of the 16:9 based on the proportion analyzed case study of web sites for art museum. In the analysis of the case study, following activities are executed which are following the standard of ‘www.rankey.com’ which provides the rank of museum websites, analyzing the structure of those ratio and layout, dividing the visual facts and info-structural facts which are accomplished the grid and collecting the responder’s objective opinions by the proportion preference questions. Through the analysis of the case study, I invented and applied a modular which was able to contribute to design layouts effectively based on the principle of the golden proportion. The invention of modular was decided by the proportion of 16:9 and the vertical and horizon proportion inside was divided by the proportion of 0.618:1, which was produced by dividing itself inside of the section. This study can contribute to design web sites which have a visually stable proportion and to raise the efficiency of work by suggesting the minimum guide in order to design web sites. Furthermore, in the future, this can be applied the variety of media which are designed by the wide display as a standard.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현재의 웹사이트는 1024?768을 기준으로 디자인되어 있으며 넓어지는 모니터의 영향으로 점점 변화되어가는 추세이다. 방송용 영상 송출이 기존의 아날로그 방식에서 HD방식으로 변화하면서 멀티미디어 환경을 중요하게 생각하는 컴퓨터의 디스플레이 화면 비율도 16:9와이드로 대체 되어가고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 비례를 분석한 미술관 웹사이트의 사례연구를 기반으로, 16:9의 비율에 황금비례를 활용한 웹 디자인 모듈러를 제안한다. 이를 위해 웹에서의 그리드를 이루는 시각적 요소와 정보 구조적 요소로 구분하여 랭키닷컴(www.rankey.com)에서 제공하는 순위를 기준으로 미술관 웹사이트의 비례 및 레이아웃 구조를 분석하고, 비례 선호도 설문을 통하여 사용자들의 객관적인 의견을 수렴했다. 이러한 사례분석을 통해 황금비례의 원칙을 적용하여 웹사이트의 레이아웃을 효과적으로 디자인 할 수 있게 하는 모듈러를 개발하고, 이를 적용해 보았다. 모듈러 적용은 16:9의 비례를 정하고 그 안에서 가로와 세로의 비율을 0.618:1로 구분하여 제작하였다.본 연구는 시각적으로 안정적인 비례를 갖는 웹사이트를 개발할 수 있고 레이아웃을 하기 위한 최소한의 가이드를 제시함으로써 작업의 효율을 높일 수 있으며 향후 와이드 디스플레이를 기준으로 하는 다양한 매체에 응용 될 수 있을 것이다.
