Satir 의사소통훈련 프로그램의 효용성 연구 : 학급단위 초등학생의 자아존중감 및 대인관계를 중심으로 = A Study on the Effectiveness of Satir Communication Training Program : Focused on Self-esteem and Relationship of Elementary Students of Class

국문 초록 (Abstract)

학교에서 집단생활을 하는 학생들은 다른 사람들과 자연스런 의사소통을 하여 학교 생활에 잘 적응하고, 생활 속의 제반 문제들을 잘 해결할 수 있는 의사소통훈련 프로그램이 필요하다. 그러나 초등학교 고학년 일반적인 학생을 대상으로 학급 전체가 수업시간에 할 수 있는 의사소통훈련 프로그램은 아직 미흡한 편이다.
본 연구는 성인을 대상으로 하는 김영애 가족치료연구소의 Satir 의사소통훈련 프로그램을 초등학생의 수준에 맞게 재구성하여 개발하였다. 그리고 이를 초등학교 5학년에게 실시하여 자아존중감 및 대인관계 증진에 효과가 있는지 알아보는 것을 그 목적으로 한다. 본 연구 결과 Satir 의사소통훈련 프로그램을 실시한 실험집단은 통제집단에 비해 자아존중감 및 대인관계가 향상되었다.
이와 같은 연구 결과에 근거하여 본 연구는 다음과 같은 시사점을 갖는다. 첫째, 집단따돌림이나 학교 폭력 등의 학교 문제 해결에 본 연구 결과를 활용할 수 있다. 즉 이 프로그램은 아동의 인성지도와 생활지도 영역에서 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 둘째, 앞으로 의사소통훈련 프로그램은 의사소통 문제가 특정 몇 명이 아닌 정상적인 일반 학생과 관계가 있기 때문에 보다 많은 학생에게 혜택을 주는 관점에서 진행되어야 할 것이다. 또한 본 연구 결과는 이와 같은 의사소통훈련 프로그램이 정규 교과 교육으로서 일부분을 담당할 수 있는 기대를 높여 주고 있다. 왜냐하면 7차교육과정의 재량활동 시간은 교사의 교육관이나 학교 실정에 따라 내용과 시간 운영에 융통성을 발휘할 수 있기 때문이다.
결론적으로 인성교육이나 인간성 회복 등이 교육에서 절실한 상황으로 대두되는 현재에 학교 교육과 교사는 아동들에게 이와 같은 Satir 의사소통훈련 프로그램을 효과적인 교육도구로 활용해서 아동들의 삶의 질 향상에 도움을 주어야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Students who live a communal life at school are in need of communication programs to improve their communicative competency, school adjustment and problem-solving skills in daily routine life. Yet their aren't plenty of communication programs that can be provided to ordinary school children in the upper grades during normal classroom hours.
The purpose of this study was to develop a Satir communication training program for elementary students based on Satir communication training program of Kimyoungae family therapy center by recognizing programs of this approach. And it's also meant to examine whether the program developed in this study would have any effects on boosting self-esteem and relationship of fifth graders. After an experiment was conducted, it's found that an experimental group that participated in the Satir communication training program made better progress than control group.
The finding of the study made the following suggestions:
First, the finding is expected to contribute to ironing out problems with school like bullying or violence. The program could be of use for character education and guidance. Second, communication is important for not only some particular students but every ordinary one, and relevant research efforts should be directed into determining how more students could benefit from Satir communication training program. According to the finding of the study, Satir communication training programs are likely to be implemented as part of regular academic education, since the 7th national curriculum allow teachers to make good use of optional classes in a flexible manner in consideration of their own niew of education or school circumstances.
In conclusion, every school and teacher should conduct Satir communication training programs as one of efficient educational tools to help improve clildren's quality og life, as character education and the recovery of humanity are especially vital to today's education.
