특수학교 방과후 프로그램에 관한 학부모의 만족도 및 요구도 조사 = The survey on parent's request and satisfaction of after-school program in special school

국문 초록 (Abstract)

첫째, 신체장애 아동의 부모들의 방과후 프로그램에 대하여 대체로 만족하고 있으며 자녀들이 다닐만한 적절한 사회교육기관의 부재로 대부분 특수학교방과후 프로그램에 많이 참여하고 있다.
방과후 프로그램에 참여함으로써 자녀의 사회성 향상과 정서적인 안정의 효과가 있었다고 한다. 방과후 프로그램을 선택하는 기준으로 자녀의 관심도를 가장 중요시 여기고 있으며 특기·적성 개발을 위한 프로그램을 요구도하고 있으며 장애아동을 존중하고 이해하는 방과후 전담교사와 전문적인 강사를 통한 질 높은 교육을 원하고 있다.
둘째, 발달장애 아동의 부모들 역시 방과후 프로그램에 대하여 대체로 만족하고 있으며 방과후 담임교사와의 상담도 충분히 이루어지고 있다고 했다. 신체장애 아동과 마찬가지로 방과후 프로그램에 참여함으로써 자녀의 사회성 향상과 정서적인 안정의 효과가 있다고 하며, 부모들 역시 자녀 양육에 대한 부담감과 사교육비에 대한 부담감이 경감되었다.
발달장애 아동의 경우 부모들이 프로그램의 질적 수준을 고려하여 방과후 프로그램을 선택하고 있으며 방과후 프로그램이 성공적으로 이루어지기 위해서는 수요자 중심의 다양한 프로그램 개설과 많은 전문 강사의 확보로 좀 더 질 높은 교육을 받기를 원하고 있다.
셋째, 신체 및 발달장애 아동의 부모들의 방과후 프로그램에 대한 만족도와 요구도 비교에서 방과후 운영전반에 대한 만족도와 앞으로의 발전 전망에 대해서도 낙관적으로 인식하고 있다.
그러나 방과후 담임교사와의 상담 여부에 대해서는 발달장애 아동의 부모들은 충분히 이루어지고 있으나, 신체장애 아동의 부모들은 그렇지 않았다. 또한 사교육비 경감에 대한 만족도에서도 신체장애를 가진 아동의 부모보다는 발달장애를 가진 아동의 부모가 사교육비 경감에 대하여 더 만족하고 있다.
또한 신체장애 아동의 부모들은 자녀의 관심도에 따라 프로그램을 선택하고 소질과 적성을 키워나갈 수 있는 교육으로 컴퓨터를 많이 선택하고 있으나, 발달장애 아동의 부모들은 프로그램의 질적 수준을 많이 고려하여 선택하고 있으며 체육·무용과 같은 신체활동 프로그램을 더 많이 선택하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is to implement parent's request and satisfaction of after-school program and compare and analyze their responds between physically and developmental handicapped children to inform fundamental data to improve after-school program.
To achieve this goal, literature study on concept of disability and object and necessity of after-school program was performed and parents was asked questions.
In questionnaire, there were information of parents whose children are physically and developmental handicapped and satisfaction and request of after-school program.
The conclusion of study is below.
Firstly, parents whose children are physically handicapped are generally satisfied with the program. They thought the program made positive effect on children's social relationships and metal stability. Owing to the lack of the proper social institution, however, they brought their children to special school for the program.
In choosing the program, they placed children's interest first. They require more programs that help improve children's specialty and aptitude and want high-quality programs and teachers which understand and respect their children.
Secondly, parents of developmental children are also satisfied with the program and they thought they had enough chances to receive advice from teachers. In addition, they thought it helped their children to become more sociable and mentally stable. It reduced a burden of bringing up children and expense of education as well. They chose program by its quality and they think there must be more divers consumer-oriented programs and qualified teaches for success of the program.
Thirdly, in comparison of request and satisfaction of parents, they took optimistic view about the general management and a prospect of the program in the future. In counsel, however, not like developmental handicapped children's parents, physically handicapped children's parents are not satisfied with it. In reduction of private education expense, physically handicapped children's parents are more satisfied than developmental handicapped children's parents.
physically handicapped children's parents chose the program by children's interest and aptitude which can improve them, especially computer education program. Developmental handicapped children's parents considered quality factor more in program and chose it especially physical movement like physical training and dancing.
