정신장애인의 직업유지에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 = A Study of Factors which Affect the Job Maintenance of the Mentally Disabled People

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 정신장애인의 직업유지에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대해 알아보고 정신장애인의 지속적이고 안정적인 직업유지를 위한 사회복지적 개입방안을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다.
이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 대구·경북 지역의 사회복귀시설과 정신보건센터를 이용하고 있으며 3개월 이상 직업을 유지하고 있는 정신장애인 182명을 대상으로 정신장애인의 직업유지에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대해 분석하여 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 일반적 특성에 따른 직업유지에서 월소득이 높을수록 직업유지의 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 직업관련 특성에서 현재 직업종류에 따라서 생산직 보다 판매/서비스직의 경우 직업유지의 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 고용상태에 따라서 임시취업, 지원고용의 경우보다 독립취업의 경우 직업유지의 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 사회기술능력에 따른 직업유지에서는 자아존중감의 정도에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 직업재활 프로그램 요인에 따른 직업유지에서는 직업재활 프로그램에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 직업유지의 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
넷째, 사회·환경적 요인에 따른 직업유지에서는 고용주?동료의 지지가 높을수록 직업유지의 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
이상의 결과들을 종합해 볼 때 정신장애인의 안정적이고 지속적인 직업유지를 위해서는 취업 전 준비단계에서 있어서 정신장애인이 직업현장에서 실제로 활용할 수 있는 내용들로 구성된 직업재활 프로그램이 필요할 것이다. 우선 자아존중감을 향상시킬 수 있는 사회기술훈련프로그램이 우선시 되어야 할 것이며, 직업재활 프로그램에 대한 정신장애인의 참여도와 만족도를 높일 수 있는 유용하고 효과적인 직업재활 프로그램이 마련되어야 할 것이다. 다음으로 지원고용의 확대를 통해 고용주들이 정신장애인에 대한 경험을 통하여 막연한 편견을 버릴 수 있도록 해야 하며, 고용주나 동료들이 정신질환에 대해 이해할 수 있도록 교육할 수 있는 기회가 마련되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study has identified the affected factors and searched social welfare system stably to keep their job for the mental disorders.
To achieve this purpose, it has made use of the local Rehabilitation Institutions and Mental Health Centers that are located in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. And the result of the effected factors to keep their job of 182 people who keep their job more than three months show as follow.
First, the highest monthly income has well maintain for their job in general, and a sale and service job are better than production job when according to the sort of the current job. And independent employment is better than temporary job when according to the employment conditions.
Second, there was a little difference depend on the self-esteem when according to the social skill ability.
Third, it shows that the highest satisfaction of vocational rehabilitation program has well maintain for their job when according to the vocational rehabilitation program.
And the last, the highest support of the employer and peer has well maintain for their job when according to the factors for the social-environmental.
As the above all results, we can summarize that it needs the vocational rehabilitation program which raises a utility and a satisfaction before finding their job to keep their job for the mental disorders stably. Above all, the social skill training program improving the self esteem should prefer than others, and the effective vocational rehabilitation program raising participation and satisfaction should be prepared.
Finally, the employers should discard prejudice about the mentally disabled people through increasing employment, and it needs the training opportunities to understand mental illness for employers and colleagues.
