The goal of grammar education emphasizes research studies, systematic thinking processes that solve problems when problems are given. However, research studies have never been conducted in the educational fields.
The issues related to this study are as follows: First, research study models reflecting the characteristics of grammar education are not sufficiently suggested. Second, it is impracticable that students develop a hypothesis as a generalized language norm. Third, since no evaluation levels for a hypothesis are prepared, no one can tell if a certain hypothesis is right.
In order to solve the problems, in this thesis, 'pre researches - basic research study - arrange and evaluation - supplement study and deep research study' are suggested as appropriate research studies based on educational courses with different levels and cooperate studies. 'Pre research' is designed to reflect research studies in a textbook as a process of writing. It attempted to reduce teachers' burden and make students pursue research studies.
Basic research studies consist of 'examining materials - suggesting hypothesis - evaluating hypothesis - deciding hypothesis.' It means that everything suggested through 'examining materials' is identified as hypothesis and the hypothesis is decided based on the standard for hypothesis. 'Arrange and evaluation' is that students examine the hypothesis and teachers explain and evaluate the contents of the studies. Through the process, if it meets the goals of this study, go to 'deep research study' and if not, continue to pursue 'supplement study.' 'Deep research study' is the process of verifying the hypothesis or recognizing the problems related to grammar studies. 'Complement study' is the process of meeting the goals of the study after students listen to detail explanation from students and examine the contents of basic research studies.
It is important to apply the appropriate research studies to practical education fields. Therefore, this study showed the examples how appropriate research studies are applied to 'word formation, a part of speech, sentence elements, composition of a sentence, close explanations in a sentence, respectable expression, timely expression, passive expressions, negative expressions, focusing on basic research studies.
