태권도를 통한 스포츠외교 성과연구 = A result study about sports diplomacy through Taekwondo

It was general common sense that globalization of Taekwondo contributed to Korean diplomacy, an especially Korean sports diplomacy worked.
However, discussion regarding this diplomatic efficiency was very spiritless regarding globalization of Taekwondo.
Therefore, the diplomatic volume of voice derived from globalization of Taekwondo can do that a depreciated aspect is.
Besides, the public a level to know about results diplomatic sports of Taekwondo not to mention Taekwondo is staying in a superficial level only because of the problems that a limit called 'common sense' has.
So, this subject discussed basically regarding globalization of Taekwondo first.
A discussion first put the subject called globalization of Taekwondo and Taekwondo, and approached in column viewpoints, and proved the value, and started.
First arrangement to have divided by two classifications was on a large scale a scientific viewpoint, and viewpoint divided again in total seven viewpoints.
Boundary divided again in a group viewpoint, a personal viewpoint, national viewpoints in two words to the scale a remaining strong viewpoint would be cold or classified with subject bases.
Have toward a scientific opinion, and to prove a diplomatic result of it which was derived from Taekwondo in scientific viewpoints focused.
Specially, be due to faith of a writer in scientific viewpoints that this reason had to constantly look in viewpoints various a line in in this way various viewpoints to have proved in seven various viewpoints in order to we are deeper, and to nearly approach to the usual objects.
On the other hand, demonstrate in other viewpoints, and to present that kind of fact while presenting the present situation and a reward currently which levels globalization of Taekwondo and a diplomatic result do progress until focused.
At for the various social characteristics of Taekwondo, I investigated a lot of taekwondo lituratures including the academic journals, newspapers, materials on internet, and some programs on television.
For the official records, I had got through many government branches and related agencies such as the ministry of foreign affairs, junior and senior diplomats, senior members of staff in Korea Taekwondo Association and World Taekwondo Federation, professors in many universities, and researchers who worte the preceding theses on the same subject.
Consequently its work studying about diplomatic efficiency is important very, and can do regarding globalization of Taekwondo.
Have achieved a lot of results, and be all over the world large not being we are local, and staying in Korea only, but it is as a large inheritance can become in the Korean economic sides that social, is cultural as we mentioned at these sentences.
A lot of papers shall progress by me and a researcher in a sports marketing viewpoint diplomatic sports and the subject to have let you relate about Taekwondo, and base on Taekwondo with bases, and can do that kind of result of research that industrial diplomatic development is a serious point of time related to sports.
What we study while a line has a steady interest in order to to reduce a difference with the foreign country which already developed to sports planes if Korea recognizes so as to be comparatively belated, and we plunged into the importance that sports have during industry of 21C, and we see is more important than what.
Steady study and discussion can make structure of strong physical education environment, and be as we can have efficiency larger if deliberate is started at that kind of structure.
This study policy regarding Taekwondo sports and a cornerstone to scheme will work.
This paper proved the value in various viewpoints about Taekwondo, and there is the meaning, and it can call at these purposes to have presented a problem regarding him and improvement plan.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

태권도가 한국의 외교, 특히 스포츠 외교적인 면에 공헌을 했다는 것은 일반적인 상식이다.
그러나 태권도의 외교적 효율성에 관한 것은 물론 태권도의 세계화와 관련된 논의는 그다지 활발하지 못했다. 따라서 태권도의 스포츠 외교적 성과는 평가가 절하된 면이 없지 않아 있다고 할 수 있다. 게다가 '상식'이라는 것이 가지는 한계 때문에 태권도와 태권도의 외교적 면에 대해 일반인들이 알고 있는 것은 피상적인 수준일 수 밖에 없다.
그러므로, 이 논제는 먼저 기본적으로 태권도의 세계화와 관련해 논의를 하였다. 논의는 가장 먼저 태권도와 태권도의 세계화라는 주제를 두고 열 관점에서 조망해 그 가치를 입증하는 것부터 시작하였다. 관점은 크게 두 가지 분류로 나누었는데, 첫 번째 분류는 학술적인 관점이었고 총 일곱 가지 관점으로 다시 나누었다. 나머지 세 관점은 참여자 내지 주체자 기준으로 분류를 하였고 경계는 그 규모로 두어서 단체적 관점, 개인적 관점, 국가적 관점으로 다시 나누었다,
학술적 관점에서는 학문적 견해를 가지고 태권도를 비롯한 그것의 외교적 성과를 입증하는데 초점을 맞추었다. 특히 학술적 관점에선 일곱가지라는 다양한 관점에서 입증하였는데, 이렇게 다양한 관점에서 본 이유는 평소 대상에게 좀더 깊고 긴밀하게 다가가기 위해선 다양한 관점에서 끊임없이 들여다보아야 한다는 집필자의 신념 때문이다. 반면 그 외의 관점에선 가치를 입증한다기 보단 현재 어떠한 수준까지 도달하였는지 현황과 사례를 제시하는데에 중점을 두었다. 반면, 그 외의 관점에서는 학술적으로 논증을 한다기보단 현황과 사례를 실증적으로 제시하면서 현재 태권도의 세계화와 외교적 성과가 어느 수준까지 진척했는지, 그러한 사실을 제시하는데 초점을 맞추었다.
이러한 연구를 위해 나는 텔레비전과 인터넷의 프로그램, 태권도와 관련된 저널, 신문, 자료들을 포함해 많은 태권도 문헌을 조사하였다.
또한 공식적인 기록을 위해 외교와 관련된 인사들, 선임 외교관, 세계태권도연맹의 인사들, 태권도 관련 학과 교수들과 연구원을 만나 면담을 가지고 거기서 얻은 자료들을 종합하였다.
결론적으로, 태권도의 세계화와 관련해 그것의 외교적 효율에 대해서 연구를 하는 일은 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다.
그것은 이 글에서도 언급했듯, 한국의 경제적, 사회적, 문화적 측면에서 많은 성과를 이루어냈음은 물론, 국소적으로 한국에서만 머무는 것이 아니라 세계적으로 크나큰 유산이 될 수 있기 때문이다.
태권도에 대해 스포츠 외교적, 스포츠 마케팅적인 관점과 연관시킨 주제로 많은 논문이 나와 연구가 진척되어야 하며 그러한 연구 결과들을 바탕으로 태권도를 바탕으로 하여 스포츠와 관련된 산업, 외교 등의 발전이 절실한 시점이라고 할 수 있다.
21C의 산업 중 스포츠가 가지고 있는 중요성을 우리 나라는 비교적 뒤늦게 인지해 뛰어들었다고 본다면, 이미 스포츠면으로 발전한 외국과의 격차를 줄이기 위해선 꾸준한 관심을 가지면서 연구를 하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다. 꾸준한 연구와 논의는 탄탄한 체육 환경의 구조를 만들 수 있고, 그러한 구조 속에서 계획이 발족되어야 훨씬더 큰 효율성을 가질 수 있기 때문이다.
이 연구는 태권도 스포츠에 대한 정책과 계획을 하는데 밑바탕이 될 것이다. 이러한 목적에서 이 논문은 태권도에 대해 다양한 관점에서 그 가치를 입증하였고 그에 대한 문제점과 개선 방안을 제시했다는 데에 그 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다.
