초등학생의 심리사회적 요인과 진로성숙도와의 관계

The purpose of this study is to know a relationship between psycho-social factors of the elementary school students and career maturity. In a variety of psycho-social factors, especially, it is to know what factors are highly related to career maturity among factors such as self-concept that is closely related to the elementary school students, upbringing attitude of the parents and social support. On the basis of these purposes, the questions for this study are as followings.
First, How is the relationship between psycho-social factors of the elementary school students and career maturity ? and how is the relationship between the respective subordinate variables of psycho-social factor and the respective subordinate variables of career maturity ?
Second, what variables out of psycho-social factors have more effect than career maturity ?
The survey has been conducted to 220 students of 6th grade at the elementary school located in Eup and Myen of Kyeongnam Changwon who were randomly selected. Except 35 students who insincerely responded and questionnaires that were collected late, the correlation and multiful regression Analysis were conducted to 185 students and its results are as followings.
First, as a result of investigating the relationship between psycho-social factors and career maturity, If the result of upbringing attitude and social support were higher, the career ability on the way of career maturity was improved, however, there was lees relationship between self-concept and career maturity.
Second, as a result of investigating a power of the effect of the subordinate factors among psycho-social factors which predict career maturity, the educational self-concept out of self-concepts, affectional upbringing attitude in upbringing attitude of the parents and support from the friends in social support had an effect on career ability of career maturity.
This study have enlighten an importance of sound friendship and affectional and positive upbringing attitude of the parents. Moreover, as a degree of professionalism that the students retain and the positive attitude over the study has an effect on career maturity, the school. home, parents and teacher realize the importance of career guidance. Consequently, this study has significance in seeking a solution for revitalizing the practical career guidance that is helpful for the students on the stage of career recognition.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 초등학생의 심리사회적 변인과 진로성숙도와의 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 다양한 심리사회적 요인 중에서도 특히 초등학생과 관계가 깊다고 생각되는 자아개념과 부모의 양육태도, 사회적지지 요인을 중심으로 어떠한 요인이 진로성숙도와 높은 관련성이 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이러한 목적 하에 본 연구에서 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 초등학생의 심리사회적 요인과 진로성숙도와의 관계는 어떠한가? 또한 심리사회적 요인의 각 하위변인과 진로성숙도의 각 하위 변인들 간의 관계는 어떠한가?
둘째, 심리사회적 요인 중 진로성숙도에 보다 더 영향을 끼치는 변인은 무엇인가?
이를 위하여 경남 창원의 읍·면 지역에 소재하고 있는 초등학교 6학년 아동 220명을 임의표집하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 늦게 수거되거나 불성실하게 응답한 35명을 제외한 185명을 대상으로 상관관계 및 중다회귀분석을 실시하였으며 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 진로성숙도와 심리사회적 요인간의 관련성을 알아본 결과, 양육태도와 사회적 지지도는 결과가 높을수록 진로성숙도중 진로능력이 향상되는 것으로 나타났다. 자아개념은 진로성숙도와 관련성이 적었다.
둘째, 진로성숙도를 예측하는 심리사회적 요인의 하위요인의 영향력을 알아본 결과 자아개념 중에서는 학업적 자아개념이, 부모양육태도 중에서는 애정적인 양육태도가, 사회적지지 중에서는 친구지지가 진로성숙도의 진로능력에 유의한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
본 연구는 애정적이고 긍정적인 부모의 양육태도와 또래끼리의 건전한 교우관계가 중요함을 한번 더 일깨워주었다. 또한 학생이 갖고 있는 전문성 정도와 공부에 대한 긍정적인 태도가 진로성숙에 영향을 미치는 것으로 보아 학교와 가정, 부모와 교사 모두 진로지도의 중요성을 깨닫고 진로인식기에 있는 초등학생들에게 도움이 되는 실제적인 진로지도 활성화 방안을 모색해 보았다는데 그 의의가 있다.
