천연염색과 조각보 만들기 수업을 위한 교수·학습 지도안 개발 및 적용 = (The) Development and its application of teaching and learning Plan for making class of natural dyeing and jogakbo

The purpose of this study is to improve interest and attitude about student's Technology- Home Economics Curriculum and to recognize the change of cognition on Traditional image through applying the making of Natural Dyeing and Jogakbo in the unit of "Making daily necessity to use textile fabric" of Technology- Home Economics curriculum in first year high school. For this, LT Cooperative learning as class method is applied, Teaching - learning plan of 10 times, group activity paper, learning materials and photograph materials for course of practice are developed. Through application of these things, the change of cognition on traditional image and the change of students' learning interest and attitude pre and post testing are checked.
The study subjects are 62 students of a S-girl's high school, which is located at Sang-Ju city, Gyeong-Kuk. Injection of program for the progress of the study studies students for 3 hours per week and the program continues for 4 weeks.
The examining instrument for this study consult the examining instrument of Se-Jeong-Ho (2002), Se-Jeong-Ja (2002) and Sin-Eun-Young (2002). The instrument is used in accordance with the researcher's aim, noting the differences before and after the use of instrument.
General contents to the practical contents of making of Natural dyeing and Jogakbo are analyzed with opening questions and examination after testing.
Statistical analysis of materials calculates average and standard deflection in order to recognize the change of testing group before and after testing with the practical use of SPSS Win 12.0 program, executing t-test, independent correspondence sample, calculating frequency and percentage.
The abridged result of study following this:
First, in making of Natural dyeing and Jogakbo, teaching-learning plan applying LT cooperative studying and learning materials have been developed. The guide line that this study develops has the characteristic that applies the education about traditional culture in curriculum in apposition with existing study in clothing teaching-learning.
Second, after applying the developed lesson plan, the result show that the change in learning interest and attitude about Technology- Home Economics curriculum is positively improved. Examination and presentation of various materials through internet improve students motivation and interest, examining the change of color in the process of dyeing and extracting direct dyes in practice raises up the interest of practice, this process not only remain in theory and being very effective at the achievement of studying goal through direct experience.
In addition, through the application of LT cooperative learning and voluntary and active student's participation, interest degree and attitude about cooperative learning is upgraded.
After executing the class on making of Natural dyeing and Jogakbo ,the interest and concern about tradition is very positively upgraded through the result analyzing the change of cognition on traditional image. That is, the view that considers tradition as old-fashioned and non-understandable, and that students these days are not connected with this traditional culture has been changed to the active and positive cognition that more often experience various traditional culture through interesting and happy experience. Even though the application and creativity in various parts of traditional image and the pride on tradition is more or less highly marked in the pre-examination before testing, these points are more improved through the process of designing the fabric directly dyed and then making of Jogakbo
The Teaching - learning plan and learning materials developed through these results have high possibility of application as educational contents about traditional culture in the field of education . After executing the class on making of Natural dyeing and Jogakbo ,the learning interest degree and attitude is very positively upgraded, and the cognition on traditional image has been changed to the active and positive cognition.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 고등학교 1학년 기술․가정 교과 「직물을 이용한 생활용품 만들기」단원에 천연염색과 조각보 만들기를 적용하여 전통이미지에 대한 인식의 변화를 알아보고 학생들의 기술․가정 교과에 대한 흥미도와 태도를 향상시키는데 그 목적이 있다.
이를 위하여 수업 방법으로 LT 협동학습을 적용하였으며, 10차시 분량의 교수․학습 지도안과 모둠 활동지, 학습 자료와 실습 과정을 위한 사진자료 등을 개발하였다. 이를 수업에 적용하여 실험 전과 후의 학생들의 학습 흥미도와 태도 변화 및 전통이미지 인식의 변화에 대하여 알아보았다.
연구 대상은 경북 상주시 소재의 S여고 1학년 2개반 학생 62명을 실험집단으로 선정하였으며, 연구 진행을 위한 프로그램 투입은 매주 3시간으로 4주 동안 이루어졌다.
본 연구를 위한 검사 도구는 서정호(2002)와 서정자(2002) 및 신은영(2002)의 검사 도구를 참고하여 연구자가 연구 목적에 맞게 수정하여 사용하였으며, 사전․사후 변화를 분석하였다.
또한 천연염색과 조각보 만들기 실습 내용에 대한 전반적인 내용을 개방형 문항과 함께 사후검사로 실시하여 분석하였다.
자료의 통계적 분석은 SPSS Win 12.0 프로그램을 활용하여 실험집단의 사전․사후의 변화를 알아보기 위해 평균과 표준편차를 산출하고 독립 대응 표본 t-test를 실시하였으며, 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였다.
연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 천연염색과 조각보 만들기에서 LT 협동학습 모형을 적용한 교수․학습 지도안 및 학습 자료를 개발하였다. 본 연구가 개발한 수업 지도안은 의생활 교수․학습에 대한 기존의 연구와는 달리 교과 내용에 전통문화에 대한 교육을 적용하였고, 개발된 교수․학습 지도안과 학습 자료들은 교육현장에서 다른 사람이 실습 시 똑같이 따라할 수 있도록 활용성을 고려하여 제작하였다.
둘째, 개발된 수업 지도안을 적용한 후 기술․가정 교과에 대한 학습흥미도와 태도 변화를 조사한 결과, 매우 긍정적으로 향상되었다. 인터넷을 통하여 다양한 자료를 조사하고 발표함으로써 학습의 동기유발과 흥미를 갖게 하였으며, 실습에서 직접 염료를 추출하여 염색하고 매염하는 과정에서 달라지는 색의 변화를 살펴봄으로써 실습의 흥미를 높였다. 이는 이론으로 그치는 것이 아니라 직접 체험함으로써 학습목표 달성에 효과적이었으며, 특히 LT 협동학습을 적용하여 자발적이고 적극적인 학생들의 참여로 인하여 협동학습에 대한 흥미도와 태도도 향상되었다.
또한 천연염색과 조각보 만들기 수업을 실시한 후 전통이미지 인식의 변화를 분석한 결과, 전통에 대한 관심과 흥미가 매우 긍정적으로 향상되었다. 이는 전통이라는 인식이 고리타분하고 딱딱하며 요즈음 학생들 문화와는 동떨어진 것이라는 인식으로부터 흥미롭고 즐거운 체험을 통하여 다양한 전통문화를 더 자주 체험하고 쉽다는 적극적이고 긍정적인 인식으로 변화되었다. 전통이미지에 대한 다양한 분야의 활용성과 창조성 및 전통에 대한 자긍심은 사전검사에서도 다소 높게 나타났으나 직접 염색한 천을 디자인하여 조각보를 만드는 과정을 통하여써 더욱 향상되었다.
이러한 결과로 볼 때, 천연염색과 조각보 제작을 통한 수업은 학습 흥미도와 태도를 향상시킬 뿐만 아니라 전통이미지 인식의 변화에 매우 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 알 수 있으며, 개발된 교수․학습 지도안과 학습 자료들은 교육현장에서 전통문화에 대한 교육내용으로 활용 가능성이 높다고 할 수 있다.
