다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

The purpose of the dissertation is to describe the early 16th century Korean Language history by analyzing the characteristics of orthography and vocabulary in Soksamganghaengsildo-Eonhae(續三綱行實圖諺解), which was published in 1514(9th year of King Jungjong中宗) in a synchronic method and by comparing literature published before and after the document in a diachronic method. I hereby summarize the major contents I presented.
The chapter II introduces the characteristics of publication of the document, bibliographic information on its two xylographic books and differences between them. The contents of recordings in the document and the organization and characteristics of an illustration will also be discussed.
    (1) Soksamganghaengsildo (續三綱行實圖) is not include Samgang- haengsildo(三綱行實圖) a collection of records regarding filial children, loyal subjects, and virtuous women. The compilation started 1512(7th year of King Jungjong中宗), and it was published in 1514(9th year of King Jungjong中宗) according to archives of Jungjongsillok(中宗實錄).
    (2) Garammungo(가람文庫) xylographic book, composed of 1 volume, 72 chapters, is a wooden print with Chinese writings and odes, Eonhae(諺解) above illustration pasted. It is missing the first 2 chapters of Namgon's Seo(南袞의 序), and "Jeongsibulsik"(鄭氏不食) and "Leesisusin"(李氏守信), the last parts of 〈Yeollyeodo(烈女圖)〉. In the third[趙娥復?] and fourth[仁厚廬墓] chapters of 〈Hyojado(孝子圖)〉, which were replaced by new plates, pictures are printed, but Chinese writings, odes, and Eonhae is handwritten.
    (3) Dongyangmungo(東洋文庫) xylographic book in Dongyangmungo in Tokyo, Japan, is divided into two volumes. It has 73 chapters altogether and doesn't have a prologue or epilogue. It has all 4 chapters of Namgon's Seo(南袞의 序), but is missing Sinyeonggae's jeon(申用漑의 箋). The stamp of "Japan king's stamp(日本國王之印)" is carved on the above illustration of Namgon’s Seo(南袞의 序). The original Chinese text of "Akgajeongsin"(樂哥貞信), the ninth chapter of 〈Yeollyeodo(烈女圖)〉, is missing pages.
    (4) It reveals under close scrutiny that both xylographic books are not original copies published in 1514 year but reissue copies published in later days. In the aspect of the consistency of a side dot usage, Garammungo(가람文庫) xylographic book precedes Dongyangmungo(東洋文庫) xylographic book. It is estimated that reissue took place before republication were published in 1581 year, which is before the Imjin War(壬辰倭亂).
    (5) Rewriting of some illustration of 〈Hyojado(孝子圖)〉, 〈Chungsindo(忠臣圖)〉, 〈Yeollyeodo(烈女圖)〉 in Soksamganghaengsildo(續三綱行實圖) in modern Korean Language enables non-experts in this area also to comprehend the document. Especially, the analysis of the contents of description demonstrates life in the contemporary Confucian society. Three characteristics of the style of illustration in the document, which was intended to be visual aid for illiterate people, are introduced. Also analysis of 4 illustration is focused on style. Soksamganghaengsildo(續三綱行實圖) has great importance in printing history and further study is necessary in this area.
The chapter III analyzes the characteristics of orthography of Korean language in historical method.
    (1) 〈ㅸ〉 : 〈ㅸ〉, which was officially abandoned in Neungeomgyeong-Eonhae(楞嚴經諺解), published in 1461 year, is shown in some text of the document. It is considered to be the influence of Samganghaengsildo(三綱行實圖).
    (2) 〈ㅿ〉 : 〈ㅿ〉 hadn't changed much from its usage in the 15th century Korean Language, but there are more than 5 cases of the change ㅿ〉ㅇ when ㅿ precedes 'i' or 'j', for example, '어버?〉어버이'.
    (3) Writing the consonant characters laterally attached(竝書) : writing the same consonants(各自竝書) is used for Korean Language orthography in very rare cases, which is not common because writing the same consonants(各自竝書) is used for sino-korean transcription, not for Korean Language orthography. Writing the different consonants(合用竝書) usage of consonant clusters that initiate with 'ㅂ', 'ㅅ', or 'ㅄ' as a syllable onset followed mostly that of 15th century Korean Language. However, there are some notable changes.
    (4) Sino-Korean transcription : Although Donggukjeongun(東國正韻) method was officially replaced by Korean phonological transcription since publication of Yukjobeopbodangyeong-Eonhae(六祖法寶壇經諺解) in 1496, Donggukjeongun(東國正韻) method is used in the document as a result of following the system of Samganghaengsildo(三綱行實圖). That 'ㅇ' is not used when there is no syllable coda is evidence that the document followed the same sino-Korean transcription method used in Worincheongangjigok(月印千江之曲) and Samganghaengsildo(三綱行實圖).
    (5) Prolonged, divided, and repeated spelling(連綴ㆍ分綴ㆍ重綴) : Prolonged spelling, a common phenomenon of the 15th century orthography, appears often along with divided and repeated spelling. Increased usage of repeated spelling is a characteristic of orthography of the early 16th century Korean Language.
    (6) A side dot(傍點) : In each chapter a side dot is used with a few exception, but it is not consistent. Differences found between Garammungo(가람文庫) xylographic book and Dongyangmungo(東洋文庫) xylographic book seem to have occured because they are reissue copies published, not original copies.
The chapter IV presents the meaning of new and rare vocabulary and explains the history of the vocabulary. Study of Chinese loan words is focused on new vocabulary.
    (1) 23 new words were found. They are 겁틱하다[劫迫](menace), 구실[租賦](a tax, compulsory labor), 다딤[供述](a statement), 됴쿠지[吉凶](good or ill luck), 됴[株](a plant), 들ㅎ[野](a field), 모시다[侍](attent), 믓?[河邊](the water's edge), 분?/분지[糞尿器](a stool, a chamber pot), 브르지지다[呼ㆍ號](yell, shout), 브?럼[癰ㆍ瘡](tumor), 브?티다[碎](break), 브효[不孝](undutifulness to one's parents), ?렵다(itchy), ?오다[追](follow), 사?날재[三日](three days), 의식[必](certainly, in any case), ?만?다[具](prepare), 햐뎐[婢](a maidservant), 효도롭다[孝誠](be dutiful to one's parents), 훗남진[後夫](a deuterogamist, a second married husband), 훗어미[繼母](a stepmother), ??[同](together) and so on.
    (2) 7 rare words were found. They are 구틔우다[强要](compel), 도도혀다[陞](raise), 딛옷[衰麻](a mourning dress), 받내다[奉](eliminate), 벋드듸다[據](endure), 에위다[圍](surrounded), 한父母(grandparents) and so on.
    (3) There are 9 Chinese loan words that were used only in the document, or rarely used. These are 免役(exempt a person from taxation or military service), 飯祭(boiled rice and sacrificial rites), 朔望祭(memorial rites held on the first and the fifteenth days of the lunar month), 心喪 三年(don't wear a mourning dress and during three-year mourning), 影堂(an ancestral shrine), 祭服(priest's ritual robes), 薦新(offering the first harvest of the season to the gods), 遷葬(moving a grave), 草葬(bury a dead body temporarily with straw) and so on.
Abundant vocabulary regarding funerals is the influence of practicing Confucian memorial rites for ancestors at that time with greater importance than today. This is a good example of vocabulary reflecting the times.
The Academy of Korean Studies has a copy that is thought as another reissue copies published of Soksamganghaengsildo(續三綱行實圖). Comparison and contrast of all the three copies may make it possible to reconstuct the original copy of 1514 year. Study of literature covering the same subject as in Samganghaengsildo(三綱行實圖), from Samganghaengsildo(三綱行實圖) to Oryunhaengsildo(五倫行實圖), in diachronical method will be my future project.
