청소년의 낙관성 수준에 따른 정서표현갈등과 삶의 만족도 차이 = Differences in ambivalence over emotional expression and life satisfaction based on the optimism level of youth students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 낙관성의 수준에 따라 청소년의 정서표현갈등과 삶의 만족도에는 어떠한 차이가 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 서울, 경기 소재에 있는 중․고등학교에 재학 중인 청소년을 대상으로 총 718명의 설문을 분석하였다.

본 연구에 대한 설문은 낙관성, 정서표현갈등, 삶의 만족도 질문지를 사용하여 측정하였으며 상관관계를 확인해보고 낙관성의 수준에 따라 정서표현갈등과 삶의 만족도에 어떠한 차이가 있는지 살펴보았다.

그 결과 낙관성과 정서표현갈등은 부적상관을 나타내었고 낙관성과 삶의 만족도는 정적상관을 나타냈다. 또한 낙관성의 수준에 따라 정서표현갈등은 유의미한 차이를 보였는데 낙관성이 높은 사람이 낮은 사람보다 정서표현갈등을 적게 느꼈다. 그리고 낙관성의 수준에 따라 삶의 만족도도 유의미한 차이를 보였는데 낙관성이 높은 사람이 낮은 사람보다 삶의 만족도가 높았다. 이는 낙관성이 높은 사람은 정서표현갈등을 적게 느끼며 삶의 만족은 크다는 의미이다. 즉 낙관성의 수준에 따라 정서표현갈등과 삶의 만족도에 차이를 준다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 끝으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 제시하였다.

Differences in Ambivalence Over Emotional Expression and Life Satisfaction Based on the Optimism Level of Youth Students

The purpose of this study was to examine differences in Ambivalence Over Emotional Expression and Life Satisfaction Based on the Optimism Level of Youth Students.
The subjects were 718 students attending youth's middle and high school in Seoul and Gyeonggi. The measurements used were the Optimism Scals, the AEQ( The Ambivalence Over Emotional Expressiveness Questionnaire) Scals, the Life Satisfaction Scals. The collected data were analyzed using simple correlation analysis and one-way ANOVA.
The results of the present study were as follows:
First, optimism showed a significant relationship with ambivalence over emotional expression and life satisfaction.
Second, there were statistically significant differences in ambivalence over emotional expression according to the optimism level. The higher the optimism level students had, the less ambivalence over emotional expression students felt, vice versa.
Third, it was found that there were statistically significant differences in life satisfaction according to the optimism level. The higher the optimism level students had, the more life satisfaction, vice versa.
