To analyze the effect of brand assets on the customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in domestic basal cosmetic products, this study conducted a questionnaire survey of 150 customers in the Metropolitan area and a district and analyzed the results. As customer needs are diversified in cosmetic market and the companies become more competitive, companies must concentrate on marketing strategy to improve profitable with increasing the existing customer loyalty but not to increase new customers. Also companies are based on keeping the long-term relationship with their customers. Long-term relationship is keeping and improving when both company and customer gain some benefits. Thus, these studies investigate the effect of brand assets of basal cosmetic products on the customer satisfaction and loyalty. Also these studies suggest some comments that companies establish a good brand image and a desirable customer attitude.First, although marketing activities of cosmetic industries were active but price activities and low name-recognition of brand assets were low it was necessary to build up public relations of brand assets. Second, among the brand images of cosmetic products, the association of brand were relatively low it was necessary to intensify the association of brand to customers. For this, it must find to establish the common images of cosmetic products and the product differentiation. Third, marketing activities of brand should increase the brand images. To maximize the effect of marketing, it is important to intensify the control of brand images. Fourth, to increase the buying plan of customer and customer loyalty, it is necessary to enhance the brand assets. Especially, customer satisfaction largely influence on the buying plan and loyalty of customer, it is required the plans to increase the customer loyalty at first.
