태권도경기의 윤리문제에 관한 연구 = (A)study on ethical problems of Taekwondo games

The research thesis has aimed to find out ways for securing the practical position of Taekwondo or Korean traditional martial art, in an effort to address ethical actions of Taekwondo game. To do it, this thesis has classified the ethical problems of Taekwondo game into the four factors: ‘administration’, ‘leadership’, ‘referees’, and ‘players’, under the hypothesis that the ethical judgements in Taekwondo game might be based on individual and social aspects. And, the thesis has put the research focus on 1)"What ethical aspects are Taekwondo game applied into"? 2)"What are problems of Taekwondo"? 3)"How must Taekwondo game be solved in the ethical terms"? 4) "What are results on the ethical problems of Taekwondo"?
The results of the research thesis can be drawn as follows.
Taekwondo game has been applied into the ethical aspects that the Taekwondo has derived from very simple, natural and primitive physical martial art to defend himself or herself. The game appeared at the same time when the humankind history began. And, Taekwondo game has been systemized and suffered from ups and downs with a range of different forms depending on geographical, climate and cultural aspects. Toady, Taekwondo game begins to be reborn as ‘Western’ sport, taking on ethical values and moral underpinning. Also, the game accepts ‘leadership’, ‘game rules’ and ‘administrative ethics’, giving the insights into action norms of Taekwondo game.
As the ethical problems of Taekwondo have been wide-spread, a wide variety of problems are accompanied, now. For the ‘administrative’ problem, the illegal scandals surrounding the issuance of ‘certificate for referees’ and ‘licences for grades’ take place. For the ‘leadership’ problem, a series of ‘violences’ are committed against players, and ‘illegal entrance scandals of senior schools’ happen. And, the results of games have been falsified and violent abuse is committed in stadiums. Regarding the ‘referee’ problem, most referees are pointed out to have inability in running games, by excessively intervening on roles of players and coaches. Also, referees are poorly-adjusting to entire games, taking bribery and falsifying games. Concerning 'players' problem, most players are suspected of taking illegal drugs playing games running counter to right sportsmanship or fair play.
The the problems of Taekwondo game must be ethically solved by adopting the game as the national flag, and one of Korea's ten cultural icons. As one of the Olympic games, Taekwondo also needs to establish the solid leadership necessary for new environments. And, the game must secure moral norms, and set obvious goals and visions, as well as create the value of Taekwondo. In addition, administrators, leaders, referees, and players must take part in Taekwondo game , trying to have the attitude of self-reflection.
There is to Taekwondo education and moral underpinning the practical technique coaching to be just as good as is the subject which is valuable. The Coach must do practice and level it could be connected with a Taekwondo practice in order. To teach a Taekwondo ethics and the truth of the competition which is fair and square only the victory is not objective mes with to accomplish and quality possibility in order to be, it collects a social demand and must compose a program.
