중학생의 사교육 실태 및 만족도 조사 = A Study on Middle School Students' Satisfaction with Private Education

In this study, about the private education's reality and satisfaction in the middle school students, by analysis, the purpose is established.
They analysis results are, in summary, as followings.
First, at present, for the middle school students, about the higher half students are given private education, it appears so.
About the motive and cause of being given private education, for the improving school academic-achievement, it appears more cast. At the side of supporter of private education, by parents recommendation, the answers that the private lessons are given are appear more.
At the time of private education, for the students, in the middle of semester and vacation, all of them, having private educations appear: At present, about the number of having private education, having above 5 subjects, are more case and investigated. About the form of having private education, they are taught in the private academic institute at the most case, the subject of being taught about the private education, English, math, Korean language, science are taught in most cast.
About having private education, for the lesson time in a week, at the degree from 10 time to 19 time are given in most cases. The atmosphere of private education place, it appears common, better than that in most trend.
About the average monthly private education cost, the average from 100,00 to 200,000 won is expended in most cases.
About the burden of private education cost, at the side of parents, it appears common and in general. About the helping degree of School lesson for the private education, the private education aid school lesson are perceived in general trends. The quality of private education are common rather than the school education, it appears higher answer.
About the educational plan of students, in the future, conditioned, the private education is wanted, there has no relation to having private education, it appears higher. The reason of having no private education, only school lessons the are enough for their improving.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중학생의 사교육에 대한 실태 및 만족도를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다.
분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 현재 중학생들은 절반 이상이 사교육을 받고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 사교육을 받는 동기나 원인은 학교 성적 향상을 위해서라는 경우가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 사교육 권유자는 부모님의 권유로 사교육 수업을 받고 있다는 응답자가 가강 많게 나타났다. 사교육 시기는 학생들이 학기 중이나 방학 중에 모두 사교육을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 현재 사교육을 몇 개정도 받는지는 5가지 이상 받는 경우가 가장 많은 것으로 조사되었다. 사교육을 받는 형태는 학원에서 지도를 받는 경우가 가장 많은 경향이었고, 사교육을 받는 과목은 영어, 수학, 국어, 과학을 지도받는 경우는 가장 많았다. 사교육을 받는데 일주일당 수강 시수는 10-19시간 정도를 지도받는 경우가 가장 많은 경향이었다. 사교육 장소의 분위기는 보통이나 좋은 경향이었다. 월 평균 사교육 비용은 평균 10-20만원 정도 지출하는 경우가 가장 많았다. 사교육 비용에 대한 부모님의 부담은 보통이나 대체로 나타났다. 사교육의 학교수업에의 도움정도는 사교육이 학교수업에 도움이 된다고 인식하는 경향이었다. 사교육의 질이 학교교육보다 보통이라는 응답이 높게 나타났다. 학생의 앞으로 교육계획은 여건이 되면 사교육을 받고 싶지만, 안 받아도 상관없다가 높게 나타났다. 사교육을 받지 않은 이유는 학교수업만으로도 충분하기 때문인 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 사교육 만족도 분석 결과 교육생활 만족에서 학원 숙제는 해 간다는 성적이 상위권 학생이 높게 나타났다. 교우관계의 즐거움은 전체적으로 보통 이하로 나타났다. 배움의 즐거움은 전체적으로 보통으로 나타났다. 교사 만족도 분석 결과 인간적 자질은 전체적으로 보통 이상으로 나타났다. 교과목에 대한 전문성은 전체적으로 보통 이상으로 나타났다. 수업에 대한 열의는 전체적으로 보통 이상으로 나타났다. 자율적인 수업환경은 전체적으로 보통 이상으로 나타났다. 교과 수업 만족도 분석 결과 학업에 도움이 되는 정도는 전체적으로 보통 이상으로 나타났다. 개인차 고려에서는 전체적으로 보통 이상으로 나타났다. 교과에 대한 흥미도는 전체적으로 보통 이상으로 나타났다. 도움의 정도는 전체적으로 보통 이상으로 나타났다. 평가의 질은 전체적으로 보통 이상으로 나타났다.
