This study is a modified teaching method and material of the '2004 sample teaching lesson for traditional play' held at a Public Kindergarten in Kyungnam agricultural area.
At the sample kindergarten, for the 3-5 year old children, for the effective experience, out-side and in-side traditional play field is established.
For the infants, about the traditional play, for having interest and curiosity, the various kinds of traditional play data, for running, are collected and made. The evaluation results of this kindergarten lesson, by play space reduction and closed play culture developing, at the ordinary life, for the infants, because of have no time to play together with their friends, by providing the traditioanal play for children to have together with their friends, in harmony with, for the children , about the traditional play, developing level, it is programimg, In the making suitable material, for utilizing the lesson material, by modifying and adding, this teaching lesson is composed.
Through this research results, the acquired conclusions are as followings.
First, at the results of running the sample kindergarten, through various traditional play experiencing activity, about the rearing familiar social behavior, for the children social characteristic, it is found improving it. By composing this teaching lesson, various play experiencing activity, social behavior improving is on the goal.
Second, at the results of examining running the sample kindergarten, in considering security, for the children in Kyung-Nam agricultural area, as the suitable directing traditional play activity, a country circle dance, rubber play, marbles play, glass beads hitting, picture cards hitting, stone hitting, four-sided hitting, baduck play, the four-stick game, game play with the feet, long rope jumping, chilkyo game, Twoho game, spinning the toy top etc, 14 kinds are selected.
Third, about the lesson activity, in considering children's interest, interest motivation, simple game, self-control game, by 3 steps processing, on the basis of this, opening-mind, talking about the play, observation, fairy tales, composing is commonly included.
Fourth, at the object of children, done traditional play directing, the environmental resource is very important. Accordingly, outside and inside space is ready. About the lesson plan, about the origin of play etc, sufficient materials are ready to support.
Through this research results, the acquired current issues and, in the future, on the basis of the problems modified and solving, some proposals are represented.
1) About the traditional play activity, together with some various programs, done long terms and planning, at the rearing social behavior, it is thought to be useful.
2) In harmony with the children developing level, without time and space restrict, with easy contact, in the discovery of various traditional play, about eternal utilizing programs, it is inspected.
3) For teachers and managers, having eternal interest, by providing environment to have freely traditional play exhibiting etc, the eternal endeavors are followed.
4) For the generalizing the traditional play, with easy explanation for the traditional play, by making like the simple small pamphlets, distributing every home, it is a good idea. it seems to consider investigating and desirable programs.
