청소년의 문화성향과 또래동조성, 의사결정방식 및 사회적 지지와의 관계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 청소년의 문화성향과 또래동조성, 의사결정 방식, 사회적 지지와의 관계를 살펴보았다.
연구대상은 서울 지역 소재의 6개 고등학교 2학년생 614명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 문화성향에 따른 또래동조성의 차이를 알아본 결과, 개인중심 성향자가 반사회적 행동에 대한 또래동조성이 높고, 집단중심 성향자는 개인중심 성향자 보다 중립적 행동에 대한 또래동조성 더 높았다.
둘째, 문화성향에 따른 의사결정 방식의 차이를 알아본 결과, 개인중심 성향자가 집단중심 성향자보다 합리적 의사결정 수준에서 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났고 집단중심 성향자는 개인중심 성향자보다 의존적 의사결정 수준에서 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 문화성향에 따른 사회적 지지의 차이를 알아본 결과, 개인중심 성향자가 집단중심성향자보다 사회적지지 지각 수준을 더 낮게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다.
넷째, 문화성향과 또래동조성 관계에서 사회적 지지가 매개 역할을 하는지 살펴보았다. 그 결과 문화성향은 또래동조성에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것이 아니라 사회적 지지를 매개로 간접적으로 효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined the relation between adolescents'' cultural tendency and conformity to peers, decision making and social support perception.
The survey was carried out with a questionnaire and the respondents included 614 high school students in Seoul.
The results of this study are as follows;
First, the study surveyed the difference in peer conformity according to cultural tendency. It showed that idiocentrics have high peer conformity to antisocial behavior and allocentrics were found to possess higher conformity of peers to neutral behavior than idiocentrics.
Second, the study investigated the difference in decision making according to various cultural tendencies. The result revealed that idiocentrics tend to make rational decisions while allocentrics make more dependent decisions than idiocentrics.
Third, the difference in the perception of social support according to cultural tendency was verified. Idiocentrics perceive less social support than allocentrics depending on cultural tendency.
Fourth, the study took a closer look at whether social support would be a mediator between cultural tendency and peer confirmity. The result shows that cultural tendency does not influence peer conformity directly but it has an indirect influence with social support being the mediator.
