The purpose of this study is to figure out what factors affect workers' satisfaction with corporate welfare in small and medium-sized companies and to present the ways of leading to better corporate welfare systems by taking an in-depth look at the relationship between corporate welfare satisfaction and workplace satisfaction.
Recently corporate welfare expanses of small and midium-sized companies in Korea are escalating for various reasons. As a result, corporate welfare management has come to play a critical role in corporate competitiveness and workplace satisfaction. Chapter 1 deals with the purpose of this study, its scope and methods, and its directions.
In Chapter 2, after closely examining the significance and function of corporate welfare system, its types and characteristics, a detailed discussion of workplace satisfaction is followed. Also, the frame of this study is also dealt with, together with an expansive investigation of existing theories and studies.
In Chapter 3, based on the theoretical backgrounds of existing studies, the research model of this study is established to achieve the purpose of the study. Selection of study samples, data-gathering ways and data analysis are discussed. After analyzing the validity and credibility of data by statistical methods, the results of this research model and its hypothesis are also examined.
Chapter 4 presents various plans for the enhancement of corporate welfare system and the workplace satisfaction of workers in small and medium-sized companies.
Finally, Chapter 5 mentions the main results of this study, its limitations and the further study to be made in the future.
From the results of this study, the overall corporate welfare system appears to have many advantages such as the increase in morale and work place satisfaction, the stability in the relationship between the labor and the management, and the enhancement of corporate competitiveness and productivity. At the same time, the present corporate welfare system has turned out to have various problems such as the rigidity in the management of welfare system, and the enlargement of welfare gap between large and small corporations. Therefore, more in-depth analyses and efforts will be required in order to understand work satisfaction and present the ways for the better corporate welfare system in small and medium-sized companies.
