지역아동센터 교육환경에 대한 아동 및 보호자의 서비스 만족도와 교사의 직무만족도

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 조사연구의 목적은 지역아동센터 아동의 이용실태와 아동, 보호자의 교육환경에 대한 만족도, 실무자의 직무만족도를 조사하기 위함이다. 아동의 개인변인에 따른 교육환경만족도에 차이가 있는가를 성별, 연령별, 이용기간별, 가정형태별로 알아보았고, 보호자의 만족도는 가정형태별, 월평균수입별로 알아보았다. 또한 실무자의 연령별, 근무기간별에 따른 직무만족도는 어떠한지 알아보고자 하였다.
연구대상은 (사) 전국지역아동센터공부방협의회에 소속되어 있는 서울지역아동센터 53곳이다. 연구대상인 지역아동센터 아동, 보호자, 실무자에게 각 각 350부, 150부, 150부의 설문지를 배포하였고, 회수된 것 중 처리가 가능한 아동용 201부, 보호자용 99부, 실무자용 104부를 분석하였다.

이에 따른 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다.
1. 지역아동센터 아동과 보호자의 실태조사 결과 연구대상인 가정의 경제적 수준이 저소득층 가정이 대부분이었으며, 보호를 필요로 하는 한부모가정이나 맞벌이 가정의 아동이 대부분으로 지역아동센터의 설립 및 운영 취지에서 벗어나지 않고 운영되고 있음을 알 수 있었다.
2. 연구대상 아동의 지역아동센터 아용은 학년이 높아질수록 인원수의 감소를 보이고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
3. 연구대상 아동의 지역아동센터 교육환경만족도는 상호작용이 가장 높았으며 물리적환경, 교육과정, 교육활동, 건강․안전․위생 만족도의 순으로 낮게 나타났다.
4. 보호자의 지역아동센터 교육환경에 대한 만족도는 일반가정에 비해 한부모가정의 만족도가 높았으며, 월평균수입이 낮아질수록 만족도가 높게 나타났다.
5. 실무자의 직무만족도는 사회적인식이 가장 높았으며, 직무자체, 근무환경, 업무량, 보상 만족도 순으로 낮게 나타났다.

이상의 연구결과에 의하면 아동과 보호자의 지역아동센터 만족도 유지 및 향상을 위해서는 지역아동센터 아동의 성장에 따른 프로그램의 개발과 보완이 요구된다. 또한 지역아동센터 아동에게 서비스를 제공하고 있는 실무자의 직무만족도를 향상시키기 위해서는 급여와 같은 보상부분에 대한 처우개선이 요구된다.

ABSTRACT

A Study of Children and Guardian's Satisfaction of Educational Environment at Community Child Care Centers and Staff's Satisfaction of their Duties

The purpose of this research is to find the actual situation of local children’s centers, the children and parents’ satisfaction on the educational environment and the job satisfaction of workers. It studied the difference on educational environment satisfaction according to individual variables of children such as sex, age, usage period and family types. It also studied difference on educational environment satisfaction according to the variables of parents such as family types and monthly income. It also studied difference on job satisfaction according to the variables of workers such as age and working period.

It researched 53 children centers, which are members of National Local Children Center Study Association, in Seoul. It distributed 350 copies, 150 copies and 150 copies for children, parents and workers of local children centers respectively. It analyzed 201 copies of children, 99 copies of parents and 104 copies of workers for analysis.

The result of this research is as follows.

1. Most of children came from low-income families. Most of them have one parent or parents who have jobs. It found that the local children centers were operated under the goal of its establishment.

2. As they go higher grades, the number of children attending the centers was reduced.

3. The children’s educational environment satisfaction recorded the highest at mutual interaction. They were satisfied with physical environment, educational course, educational activity, health, safety and hygiene when higher satisfaction was put first.

4. One-parent families showed greater parents’ educational environment satisfaction than families with both parents. The lower monthly income families showed greater satisfaction than the other families.

5. The workers showed the highest satisfaction at the social recognition. They were satisfied with the job system, job environment, quantity of things to do and compensation when higher satisfaction was put first.

According to the result of the study, it is required to develop or improve programs that meet the growth of the children of local children centers to maintain or improve the satisfaction of children and parents of local children centers. It is also required to improve the environment of salary and compensation for the workers to improve their satisfaction.
