- This study examines the relationship among children''s loneliness and mothers'' acceptance-rejection perceived by children, peer relational skills, and automatic thoughts. A survey was conducted to 598 fifth and sixth grade children from two elementary schools in Seoul.
- The results of the study show that :
- First, the more mothers'' rejection children perceive, the lower peer relational skills are, and the higher automatic thoughts are, children are more likely to feel loneliness.
