The purpose of this thesis was to study the relation between physical activity participation and psychological well-being(self-acceptance, positive relations with other, personal growth, autonomy, purpose in life and environmental mastery) of married women. That is, it was to consider the effects of swimming program on the improvement of psychological well-being, by comparing the differences of the improvement of psychological well-being between participants and non-participants after the experiment. 30 participants took part in this experiment and periods of this swimming program was 8-weeks. After 8-weeks, the differences of the improvement of psychological well-being between the pre-test and post-test were compared and analysed. The method of sampling picked up in this experiment was the convenience sampling method and the questionnaire was composed of 26-questions tested validity and suitability. The questionnaire investigation made use of Self-administration method. For data analysis, the mean and standard deviation were measured and independent sample paired t-test(p< .05) was used. The results of these experiments could be summarized as follows : 1.
