유아기 음악교육이 인격형성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

음악은 인간의 감정과 정서를 표현하는 수단이 되며 음의 아름다움을 통하여 인간의 생활을 폭넓고 아름답게 하는 역할을 한다.
이런 음악교육은 음악적 기초 능력이 급속히 형성되고 성장하는 유아기에 이루어지는 것이 바람직하다. 유아기는 인간성 성장을 향한 올바른 기초와 방향을 제공해줄 수 있는 가장 효과적인 출발점이 되고 있는 것이다.
유아기 음악교육은 성장과정을 통한 모든 음악 교육과정의 기반이 되고, 앞으로의 음악적 감각과 정서교육의 바탕으로서 음악을 통한 인격형성의 토대를 마련함과 동시에 자아성취를 이룩하는데 영향을 미친다. 그러므로 유아들로 하여금 음악적인 환경을 만들어주고 다양한 음악체험을 통해 음악의 아름다움을 충분히 느끼게 하고 음악미를 표현할 수 있는 능력을 길러주도록 하여 바람직한 가치관을 신장시키는데 그 주안점을 두어야 할 것이다.
유아기의 음악교육은 유아의 단순한 음악능력만이 아니라 유아의 신체, 언어의 발달 및 인지능력과 창의성을 발달시키고 자신감 및 다른 사람과의 긍정적 상호작용을 촉진하여 사회적응력을 높여준다. 그러므로 유아발달의 특성에 따른 인간성 성장으로서의 음악교육이 이루어져야 한다.
또한, 유아기 음악교육은 음악을 자연스럽게 즐기고 음악에 대해 반응하는 잠재적 능력을 더욱 촉진시킴과 동시에 흥미 있게 학습에 임함으로써 창의력과 자기 표현력 그리고 다른 학습의 발달을 도모하기 위한 중요한 교육활동이 되어야 한다. 그렇게 함으로써 정서적 안정과 풍부한 심미적 감각을 소유하게 되고 더 나아가 보다 즐겁고 풍요로운 생활을 누리게 되는 것이다.
이와 같이 유아기 음악교육이 인간성의 기초가 되는 가장 중요한 시기라 할 수 있다.
본 연구는 유아기 음악교육이 인격형성에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보았는데 이를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 유아기 음악교육은 자기표현의 창조적인 경험과 능력을 최대한 발전시킬 수 있는 적절한 시기이다.
둘째, 유아기 음악교육은 음악을 생활화하기 위한 인간교육으로서, 이 시기의 음악교육은 생활자체에서 음악을 느끼고 사랑하고 아낄 수 있는 따뜻한 음악교육의 장이라 할 수 있다.
셋째, 유아기 음악교육은 음악적인 잠재력을 개발하는데 가장 적절한 시기로서, 음악적 능력 발견의 최적시기이다.
넷째, 유아기 음악교육은 미적 감수성이 성립되는 시기가 되고 있다. 유아에게 미적 감각과 경험을 체득케 하여 원만한 인간성을 성장시킨다는 것이다.
따라서 앞으로 유아기 음악교육이 지향하여야 할 목표는 다양한 학습내용과 지도방법을 계발하여 유아들로 하여금 음악의 본질과 개념을 이해하도록 도와줌으로써 다양한 음악의 미적 경험을 기초로 인간정서를 순화시키고 풍부한 인성을 계발하여, 유아 스스로가 음악적 경험과 활동을 생활화 할 수 있도록 유도하고 바람직한 인격형성에 영향을 줄 수 있는 음악을 통한 인간교육이 되어야 할 것이다.

The music can be a means to express feeling and emotion of human beings and play a role to beautify and widen human life through the beauty of sound.
It is desirable that this music education should be established in the period of an infant that the basic musical ability is rapidly formed and growing. The infant period can be the most effective starting point that can offer the right framework and direction toward the growth of humanity.
The music education in an infant period can be basement of all music education course through the growth course, and establish the framework of the formation of character through the music based on musical feeling and emotional education in the future, and simultaneously effect on establishing the self-accomplishment.
Terefore, we establish the musical environment for infants, and make them feel amply the beauty of music through various musical experience and foster the ability to express the beauty of music resulting in focusing on extending the desirable values.
The music education in an infant period intend to develop not only simple music ability of an infant, but also the infants' body, development of language, and the ability of human knowledge, creativity, and facilitate confidence and positive interaction with other person leading up to heighten the social adaptability. Therefore, the music education as the growth of humanity is to be made that is followed by the peculiarity of an infant development.
Also, the music education in an infant period facilitates the potential ability to enjoy music naturally and to respond to the music. It should also be an important educational activity to contrive the creativity, self-expression and the development of other learning by letting students participate in the class with interest. By doing so, children can have the emotional stability and abundant aesthetic feeling, and futhermore, lead more enjoyable and abundant life.
Like this, the infant period must be the most important time on which the humanity is based. This research is to study the effect of the music education in an infant period on the formation of character, and to be summary is as follows:
First, the music education in an infant period is a proper time to develope at full length creative experience and ability of self-experience.
Secondly, the music education in an infant period is a human education to make the music a daily routine to be considered warm chapter of music education to feel, love and value the music in life itself.
Thirdly, the music education in an infant period is a proper time to develope the musical potential to be considered an optimal time to find the musical ability.
Lastly, the music education in an infant period is becoming a proper time for the esthetic sensibility to be established. It is intended for an infant to acquire the esthetic sensibility and experience resulting in growing well-rounded humanity.
Accordingly, the objective that the music education in an infant period aims at in the future is to develope various learning materials and teaching method to help infants to understand the essence and the concept of music. It is also to induce infants themselves to actualize the musical experience and activity by purifying human emotion and developing abundant humanity based on various musical and aesthetical experience. In conclusion, music education should be the human education able to have an effect on a desirable character building through music.
