      The purpose of this study is to develop the Social Skills Improvement Group Counseling program for ADHD children and to prove the effects of the program on improving ADHD children's social skills and reducing children's ADHD symptoms. This study was used Art Therapy Group Program and Music Therapy Group Program. because now a days, art and music are used in Group Counseling program for ADHD children. so this study is used Art Therapy Group Program and Music Therapy Group Program and also to compare the effects of Art Therapy Group Program and Music Therapy Group Program.
      Subjects were 10 elementary school children who were diagnosed as ADHD from psychiatric of ○○ University hospital. Five of them participated in the Social Skills Improvement Group Counseling Program that based on Art Therapy and all the last participated in the participated in the Social Skills Improvement Group Counseling Program that based on Music Therapy . Each programs was consisted of the twelve sessions (fifty minutes per session) program, that include four phases which are building an rapport, cognition of oneself and others, solving problem/improving social skills, and reorienting/ reeducating.
      The instruments used in the study were Social Skill test and ADHD child scale. The date were analyzed using Mann-Whitney U and Wilcoxon signed-rand test of nonparametric statistics.
      The research findings were as follows :
      1. The Social Skills Improvement Group Counseling Program used Art Therapy improved participants's Social Skills and reduced participants's ADHD symptoms.
      2. The Social Skills Improvement Group Counseling Program used Music Therapy improved participants's Social Skills and reduced participants's ADHD symptoms.
      3. The effects of Art Therapy Group Program and Music Therapy Group Program had no differences.
      The conclusion of this study are as fallow :
      First, the Art Therapy Group Program developed to improve social skills of ADHD children has significant consequences. The consequences showed that Art Therapy Group Program developed for ADHD children improved ADHD children's social skills. and Art Therapy Group Program developed for ADHD children reduced ADHD children's symptoms.
      Second, the Music Therapy Group Program developed to improve social skills of ADHD children has significant consequences. The consequences showed that Music Therapy Group Program developed for ADHD children improved ADHD children's social skills. and Music Therapy Group Program developed for ADHD children reduced ADHD children's symptoms.
      Third, both of the Art Therapy Group Program and Music Therapy Group Program showed the effects on improving ADHD children's Social Skills and on reducing ADHD's symptoms. but effects of two counseling program wasn't differences. that is, Art Therapy Group Program was ad effecitve ad Music Therapy Group Program.
