랜드스케이프 건축의 불확정성(不確定性)에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Indeterminate Characteristics of Landscape Architecture

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한글초록 :현대 사회의 특성을 정의 하자면, 복합적이며, 디지털적이며, 혼돈적이고, 불확정적인 것으로 정의를 할 수 있다. 다양한 스케일과 맥락없는 구조물의 집합으로 표현되는 현대의 도시는 ‘보이지 않는 질서’ 즉, 정보와 의식이 복잡하게 서로 얽힌 광의의 정치적, 경제적, 문화적인 제도, 소프트웨어, 정보의 흐름, 변화하는 프로그램의 양상에 의해서 리좀(rhizome)적 구조로 이루어져 있다. 건축과 도시, 도시와 시골, 건축과 조경, 땅과 건축, 내부와 외부, 공적공간과 사적공간 등의 이분법적으로 나눠져 있던 정의들이 현대에서는 불확정적인 관계를 맺으며 경계가 흐려지고 있다. 건축은 이러한 현대 사회의 불확정적이며, 카오스적이며, 복합적인 특성과 변화를 수용할 수 있는 유동적인 틀로서 존재하야여 한다. 현대 건축은 단일적이고, 주류적인 이론이나, 사상이 존재하지 않고, 다양한 해석과 분석에 의해서 현대 건축의 흐름을 파악하고 구성한다. 그 중에서 다양하게 해석되어 지고 있는 랜드스케이프 건축을 현대 사회의 특성을 수용할 수 있는 틀로서 분석을 하고자 하는데 이 연구의 목적이 있다. 우선, 현대 사회의 불확정성과 랜드스케이프 건축에 대한 이론적인 고찰을 통하여 불확정성과 랜드스케이프 건축을 정의하고, 본격적으로 랜드스케이프 개념을 이야기하기 시작하였다고 할 수 있는 1996년 바르셀로나에서 열린 ‘New Territories, New Landscape’에서 소개되었던 작품들과 기존의 문헌에 반복적으로 언급되고 있는 작가와 자신의 성향을 드러낸 작가 중에서 그 이론과 작품활동에서 랜드스케이프 건축의 성향을 띠는 건축가의 작품을 중심으로 연구의 범위와 대상으로 한다. 그리고, 이 작품들 속에서, 건축의 불확정적인 요소 즉 공간의 복합성, 공간의 가변성, 동선의 불확정성, 프로그램의 불확정성 등을 바탕으로 랜드스케이프 건축을 분석하고자 한다

국문 초록 (Abstract)

영문초록 :The purpose of this study is to analyze the Indeterminate Characteristics of Landscape Architecture. The contemporary society is defined as compositive, digital, chaotic, indeterminate characteristics. and the contemporary city is organized by rhizome of complicated systems, software, flowing of information, variation of program. The traditional idea that presupposes the physical separation between Architecture and Urban, Architecture and Landscape, Land and Architecture, Inside and Outside, public space and private space is losing its meaning today along with increasing ambiguity between all physical boundaries. The architecture should have to accept the indeterminate, chaotic characteristics of contemporary society. Landscape Architecture, as a conceptual tool dealing with the Indeterminate Characteristics in modern society, encompasses the possibility of indeterminate, chaotic characteristics of contemporary society. First, I will define the indeterminate characteristics and Landscape architecture, analysis some examples of works in an exhibit held Barcelona, Spain, named [New Landscape, New Territories] in 1996. After that, based on the composition of space, variableness of space, indeterminacy of movement, indeterminacy of program, I will analysis indeterminate characteristics of landscape architecture
