영문초록 :In this study, the global warming issue in the context of Kyoto mechanism is discussed from the perspective of eco-efficiency. The Global Warming Eco-Efficiency indicator is defined as the ratio of the value added of a system to its global warming influence to measure the effectiveness of a product or company on the global warming. Gross value-added and economic value added are used to represent the economic aspects of a product and company, respectively. The global warming impacts are monetized by utilizing the CO2 emission trading prices under the Emission Trading. In this way, the global warming impacts can be expressed in terms of costs and, thus, the GWEE indicator becomes dimensionless. In addition, the indicators for CDM and JI are proposed to support the environmental and economic performances of CDM and JI in Kyoto mechanism. The CDM environmental efficiency and economic productivity indicators are defined as the ratio of the CER achieved from a CDM project to the costs or total global warming influence caused by the CDM project implemented, respectively. For the JI indicators the ERU, achieved from a JI project is used as the numerator
