그림책을 활용한 미술표상활동이 유아의 창의성과 언어 표현력에 미치는 영향 = The effects of art representational activities with picture-books reading on young children's creativity and language expressions

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한글초록 :본 연구의 목적은 그림책을 활용한 미술표상활동이 유아의 창의성과 언어 표현력에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하는 것이다. 위의 연구목적에 따라 다음과 같은 문제를 설정하였다. 첫째, 그림책을 활용한 미술표상활동이 유아의 창의성과 창의성의 각 하위 영역(유창성, 독창성, 제목의 추상성, 정교성, 성급한 종결에의 저항)에 영향을 미쳤는가? 둘째, 그림책을 활용한 미술표상활동이 유아의 언어표현력과 그 하위 영역(단어 수, 문장 수, 내용일치, 창의적 표현, 이야기 구조)에 영향을 미쳤는가? 연구 대상은 서울 강동구와 노원구, 경기도 하남시에 거주하는 만 5세 유아 110명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구도구는 유아의 창의성을 측정하기 위해 Torrance의 창의적 사고력 검사(TTCT) 중 유아에게 적합한 도형검사를 사용하였으며, 언어 표현력을 측정하기 위한 이야기 꾸미기의 그림도구는 연구자가 직접 제작 하였으며 점수측정을 위해 장애자(1981)의 채점방식을 참고로 하였다. 집단 간의 차이 및 오차변량을 최소화하기 위해 공변량 분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 그림책을 활용한 미술표상활동이 유아의 창의성에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 실험집단 유아와 비교집단 유아의 창의성에는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 창의성의 하위영역을 살펴본 결과, 유창성, 독창성, 제목의 추상성, 정교성, 성급한 종결에 대한 저항에서 모두 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 그림책을 활용한 미술표상활동이 유아의 언어 표현력에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 실험집단 유아와 비교집단 유아의 언어 표현력은 유의한 차이가 있었다. 언어 표현력의 하위영역을 살펴본 결과, 이야기 꾸미기를 구성하고 있는 단어의 수, 문장의 수, 창의적 표현에서는 유의한 차이를 나타냈으나 내용의 일치에서는 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 언어 표현력의 또 다른 하위영역으로 이야기 구조에서는 두 집단 간에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과에 의하면, 유아에게 친숙한 그림책을 활용하여 유아의 발달에 적합한 미술표상활동을 실시한 교육방법이 유아의 창의성과 언어표현력 향상에 매우 효과적 이였음을 알 수 있었다. 창의성의 발달 중에서도 정교성과 독창성의 두드러진 향상이 보이며, 언어의 표현에 있어서 획일화된 내용보다는 창의적 표현의 언어가 향상되었다. 이러한 결과는 21세기의 미래를 살아 갈 현재의 유아들에게 시대적 과제를 해결해 나갈 수 있는 매우 적합한 교육 방법 이였음을 시사한다. 따라서 개개인의 창의성과 언어적 표현이 그 필요성과 함께 관심을 더 해가고 있는 요즘, 유아의 교육환경에서나 가정 안에서 그림책을 활용한 미술표상활동은 유아의 창의성과 언어표현력을 향상시킬 수 있는 구체적인 방법으로 제시될 수 있을 것이다

영문초록 :The effects of art representational activities with picture-books reading on young children's creativity and language expressions. This study aims to examine the influence of arts representation activities with picture-book reading on young children's creativity and language expression. For this study, 110 five-years-old children were selected in Gangdong-Gu and Nowon-Gu, Seoul and Hanam, Gyeonggi-Do. Figural TTCT(Thinking Creatively with Pictures) in the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking(TTCT) was adopted to measure the creativity of children. To measure children's language expressions, the subjects were asked to make a story and the children stories were analyzed in terms of the number of words and sentences, the consistency of contents, the creative expressions and the structure the structure of stories. Data were analyzed by ANCOVA. The reason why ANCOVA was used is to see the pure effects of the independent variables by removing the errors cased by individual difference variable. The results of this study are as follows : First, the art representational activities had influenced on young children's creativities including fluency, originality, abstractness of title, elaboration and resistance to premature closure. Second, the art representational activities had influenced on young children's language expressions including the number of words and sentences, the creative expressions and the structure of stories, except the consistency of contents
