도시 정체성 향상을 위한 도시이미지 분석과 구성요소 도출 = (The) City Image Analysis and Extraction of Elements for City Identity Enhancement

국문 초록 (Abstract)

도시란 다양한 계층과 성격의 사람들이 삶을 영위하기 위해 복합적 구성 요소들로 이루어진 집단체이며, 동시에 끊임없이 시간에 따라 변화를 거듭하는 생명을 가진 유기체로서 인간과 함께 성장을 추구해 간다. 즉 도시는 인간의 중요한 삶의 터전이며, 휴식의 공간이며 그 자체가 하나의 문화공간이다. 이제 도시는 정치, 경제적 기능과 더불어 시민들의 삶을 보다 윤택하게 만들어 주는 수준 높은 문화와 복지의 기능을 수행하고 있으며 이는 중요한 도시의 기능이 되고 있다. 시민들이 편하고 안전하며 쾌적한 생활환경을 즐길 수 있는 도시, 그리하여 삶의 질을 높이는 여러 지표들이 평가의 척도가 되는 시민의 도시를 지향해 가고 있는 것이다. 자연은 신이 만들었지만 도시는 인간이 만든다고 하였다. 도시이미지는 시민에게 있어서 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있으며 도시환경을 아름답고 활기차게 만드는데 필요하다. 따라서 도시에 살고 있는 우리는 좋은 도시이미지를 형성하고 나아가 도시의 정체성(identify)을 확립하여 쾌적한 도시환경을 만들어 나가야 할 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 도시 이미지와 관련된 연구 문헌들을 탐색하여 이미지에 대한 명확한 정의를 정립하고, 도시이미지에 관련된 선행연구들을 통해 도시의 주요 이미지를 형성하는 구성요인들을 도출하였다. 또한 부산시의 시민들의 설문을 통하여 부산의 단순응답 이미지, 부산의 도시이미지맵(image map) 그리고 현장조사 및 전문가의 의견 통한 도시이미지구성요소 이 3가지 데이터의 비교?분석을 통해 부산시의 도시이미지를 구성하는 여러 요소들 중 가장 중요한 상위요소들은 도심과 해안을 중심으로 나타나며 부산을 남북으로 연결 짓는 중앙로가 부산의 이미지를 형성하는 기준이 됨을 알 수 있었다.
하지만 부산의 강한 이미지요소는 대부분이 도심 축과 일부 해안에만 형성되고 도시 구성요소별 이미지는 Landmark와 District에 편중되어 나타났다. 구성요소별 이미지가 Landmark와 District에 편중되는 이유는 Edge는 중요한 도시구성요소이지만 지형적 특정상 한정적인 이미지요소이며, Path와 Node 역시 도시를 구성하는데 있어 중요한 영향을 미치는 요소이지만 일반 시민들이 도시이미지를 인지 할 때에는 복잡한 도로명이나 교차로보다는 인지하기 쉬운 Landmark나 District를 머릿속에 먼저 떠 올리기 때문이다.
도시이미지란 인간과 환경간의 상호작용의 결과이며 각 개인이 도시의 각 부분을 자신과의 물리적인 상호관계 속에서 인식하는 과정을 통해 그 도시전체를 하나의 이미지로 정형화한 것이다. 도시의 이미지는 도시의 문화, 지역성, 도시구조 등 작은 차이에 따라 저 마다의 특성을 지니며 달리 표현 되므로 도시는 그 도시의 정체성을 향상을 위해 그 도시만의 이미지특징과 구성요소를 발견하여 도시의 문제점과 향후 바람직한 도시이미지를 찾아 나가야 할 것이다.

This the group which the city is composed of structure elements for operate the life for the people of the personality with various hierarchy. At the same time it repeat the change according to the time constantly and pursue the growth with the human and go as the organism to have the life.
The city is the site of important life of the human and it is the space of the rest and is culture space.
The city has economic facility with the politics which make rather gross the life of citizens. This is becoming important city's facility.
The city which citizens are comfortable and can enjoy agreeable life environment because the safety does. Then we intend the city of the citizen to make the quality of the life to and are going. We were 'The human makes the city though the god made the nature.' the low.
The city image is charging important role for the citizen and it is beautiful and needs the city environment in making lively. Consequently we to be living in the city form good city image. we establish city identity and must keep making agreeable city environment.
This study is We set up clear definition about the image to research literatures about a city image and We deduced a structure factor which extract city main image by the leading study about the city image.
Also, compare and analyzed through citizens‘ question simplicity response image of Busan, city image component through the opinion of the spot investigation and expert.
Most important high position elements of several elements that compose city image of Busan appear laying stress on impulse to steal and seashore and Busan that get into standard that Jung-ang path that manufacture connection for South-North forms image of Busan know can.
However, strong image element of Busan is formed mostly with the city center and the shore also city component part Image becomes concentration to 'Landmark' and 'District'
It is concentrated on 'Landmark' and 'District' because 'Edge' is limitative image although is important city component.
Also, when citizen‘s recognize city image although 'Path' and 'Node' are element that exert important effect being that compose city, it is because leave first in memory and think 'Landmark' or 'District' that it is apt to recognize than the name of road or intersection.
City image is result of being and environment's reciprocity effect, and it is that expresses the city whole in image through process that individual recognizes part of city in physical relation.
City image may have to find have each special quality and becomes expression differently, therefore city identity image feature of city for only elevation and component part according to culture of city, area, city structure etc. and look for desirable city image city problem.
