The light is an essential factor for human survival and a shortage of the light brings unexpected results. Colors exist since lights exist either naturally or artificially and those colors are recognized through our sense of the sight and consciousness. However how exactly the color vision acts on us has been studied by many physicists, but it is still in mystery. In general, to sense colors, a light is essential and after all, colors are outcome of the light and the light is a reason of the existence of the color. When a light shines on all things on the ground, part of it is absorbed and changed into heat, but other part that is not absorbed, but reflected arrives into our eyes and makes us to sense the brightness and the colors. Then, what really is the light? The physicists say a light is a part of electromagnetic waves and the thing that we normally call as a light is the range that can be sensed by our eyes among many different kinds of radiated electromagnetic waves and this is called as a visible ray. When we sense colors, we sense the feeling of colors when the light directly enters to our eyes or when the reflected light of an object comes into our eyes, and for a color of an object, it is not that the object itself has its own color, but it is shown as different colors by the reflected light. In other words, theoretically it is known as the red color is shown as red, because a red color reflects red lights, but absorbs rest of lights. I remember that I've shown special interests in colors since childhood. There are memories such as painting my door with white paint by myself since I disliked the brown colored door, after sticking ripped color version Japanese magazine on wall of my room since I disliked the white colored wallpaper and reverting the wall back to the original look by being scolded by father, buying pretty colored clothes with pocket money and showing a strong unpleasant feedback if there are colors that I disliked. I made paper dolls and dressed them by coloring and did make colors by pounding different kinds of colored petals when I played outside. Usually, I liked bright and splendid colors, but there was a time that I liked a brown color. When I recollect the relationship between the mental changes or life changes through a color history that writes my own chart by thinking back the color history of myself till now, I think of gloomy days under the stresses of university entrance examination while my strict father did not allow anything else other than basic scholarly activities even though I had a lot of other things that I wanted to do when I was in high school. Therefore I might have a strong desire of wanting to go back to the childhood when I played with soil, and so I liked to use a dark brown color that is produced when the three primary 3 colors are mixed and even 80% of my clothes were brown colored clothes. But now in my works, I mainly use a violet color that everyone says as a pathological color as well as gold color and silver color that are glittering and even splendid. Then why do I dislike ordinary colors that are generalized for everyone? I think it is not that I dislike those ordinary colors, but I'm only not much interested in them and I want to say that I was only charmed by these colors (violet, gold, silver and etc.). "What if the today's mood is expressed in colors?" When people draw pictures with colors they like, the mood can be calmed and a tension can be loosened. In other words, it has an effect on treatment to radiate the energy of mind. No matter if it is one color or many colors, as soon as selecting the colors that his/her mind leads, it can be considered as the first stage of opening the mind. Slowly, by bring up the world of unconsciousness to consciousness, a tension is relieved and people find the calm of mind. This is that the invisible mind is transmitted through the picture drawn freely. Especially, from pictures scribbled by children, the relationship between used colors and mental state and health state can be found by classifying the usage of colors. And these pictures that the unconsciousness of children is expressed can be used as an object for psychology and pedagogy studies. Colors are not only seen with eyes, but are felt and reacted by body or skin. What if the colors disappear from this world and this world changes to a world of black and white? The world with no colors will be like a world of death. By scientifically judging the secrets that colors have, if we get to know the secrets or principles of harmony of colors, it will be very helpful for our better life and the psychosis that colors have can be practically used in our life and the mind will be abundant when the psychosis of colors are used appropriately for the states of body and mind. I am going to continue studying ways of using the colors for mental treatment as well as the mechanism of colors and the relationship between unconsciousness mentality and color symbol and through the clinical demonstration and case analysis, I will keep solving the mystery of colors.
