청소년이 지각한 부모의 양육태도 및 자기애와 완벽주의 성향과의 관계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 완벽주의 성향의 발달적 측면에 초점을 두고 청소년이 지각한 부모의 양육태도 및 자기애와 완벽주의의 관계를 살펴보았다.
연구대상은 서울 지역 소재의 중고등학생 805명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다.

본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.

첫째, 부모 양육 행동에 따른 완벽주의 성향의 차이를 검증한 결과, 부모 양육 행동을 긍정적(애정적, 자율적, 성취적, 합리적)으로 지각할수록 자기 지향적 완벽주의와 타인 지향적 완벽주의 성향은 높고, 사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의 성향은 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

둘째, 자기애가 완벽주의 성향에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 자기애의 적응적인 면은 자기 및 타인 지향적 완벽주의 성향을 높이고, 사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의 성향을 낮추는 것으로 나타났다. 자기애의 부적응적인 면은 완벽주의 각 하위 차원의 성향을 모두 높이는 것으로 나타났다.

셋째, 부모의 양육 태도와 완벽주의의 관계에서 자기애가 매개 역할을 하는지 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 부모의 양육태도가 자기 및 타인 지향적 완벽주의에 영향을 미칠 때, 자기애는 부분적으로 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의의 경우, 부모의 양육태도가 독립적으로 완벽주의 성향에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

This study examined the relationship between the parental rearing attitudes perceived by juveniles, narcissism and perfectionism
The survey was carried out with a questionnaire and the respondents were the 805 students who are attending either a middle school or a high school in Seoul.

The results of this study are as follows;

First, the difference in the tendency of perfectionism according to the parental rearing attitudes is verified. The result is, the more positive (affectionate, autonomous, achievement-oriented, reasonable) they perceived the parental rearing attitudes, the higher the tendency of self-oriented perfectionism and other-oriented perfectionism is. However, the tendency of socially prescribed perfectionism is low.

Second, the study examined the effect of narcissism on the tendency of perfectionism. The result is, the adaptable aspect of narcissism promoted the tendency of self-oriented perfectionism and other-oriented perfectionism, whereas it lowers the tendency of socially prescribed perfectionism. However maladjusted aspects of narcissism enhanced all the lower parts of perfectionism.

Third, this study surveyed whether narcissism would be a mediator between the parental rearing attitudes and perfectionism. As a result, it is turned out that narcissism played a partial role of mediator, when the parental rearing attitudes influenced on the self-oriented perfectionism and other-oriented perfectionism. On the contrary, the parental rearing attitudes influenced the tendency of perfectionism independently in the case of socially prescribed perfectionism.
