      The rate of younger infants who are admitted to the day care center is currently increasing because of the growth of working mothers in modern times. Contrast in these expecting of parents, infants are not ready for adjust day care center. So, they have difficulties in adapting for day care center The purpose of this study is to provide basic data that is used to develop the program about the early adjustment for infant in day care. Hereby, we've investigated the perception of teachers about early adjustment and observed the actual conditions of early adjustment programs which is recently putting into effect. For these purpose of study, the issues of this study are as follows. 1) what's the actual conditions of early adjustment program in operating at day care? 1-1) what's the present state of early adjustment in operating at day care? 1-2) what's the way of practice to help early adjustment in operating day care for teacher? 2) What`s the perception of teacher about early adjustment for infants in day care? The subjects of this study were 200 day care teachers who were working at day care center in pusan. They were given out the survey. Among them, we chose 13 teachers and then interviewed. The study was lasted for 9 weeks from february first week to march fifth weeks. Then, we had a interview in person. The questionnaire has based on park, lee, kim` the foundation study for developing adjustment program in day care center` The researcher has revised and complemented at this questionnaire. The interview consisted of questions which is based on the questionnaire, is suitable to the intention of this study. Cases were gathered have been made a analysis into frequency,percentage through each questions that is processed by SPSS program. In case of interview, we classified, summarized all cases properly. The result from the condensation of this study were as followed. First, the present condition of early adjustment enforcement in day care center was 83.1% (123 out of 148), The reverse case was 16.2%. This survey indicate that most day care center perceive importance of early adjustmentprogram and it is operating. However, that has focused on informing infant`s early adjustment step by step. The problem of early adjustment programs in day care center is suitable to application which match infant`s disposition. and early adjustment program`s operation periods became reduced as infant`s monthly age became older. As a result we noticed the actual condition of operation methods of early adjustmentof infant. making a relationship between the teacher and infant, giving aid with sensitive responding to requirement of infant, providing toys and playing activity. these activities were important role in adapting to early adjustment of infant through communication between teacher and parents. Second, from needs in early adjustment of infant, periods, methods, the perception of teacher on evaluation and consideration, we could make a conclusion most teacher think early adjustment program is essential. and 96.4% of teachers replied that new early adjustment program is needed which has considered infant`s disposition and fondness status. Also day care teacher had a inclination on that periods of early adjustmentshould be reduced when infant became older. We investigated several methods to reduce periods of early adjustment program. First, Trying to give mild imagination of teacher to infant during teacher`s first visiting. Second educating parent`s role for early adjustment of infant by searching for day care center with their parent. Third considering their infant`s disposition and grown-up-history for early adjustment program. these three of articles were the highest position out of all answers. The main cause of what make infant not to adapt early adjustment program is difficult with seperation between parents and infant and daycare teacher prefered interview with parent for way of early adaption of infant. And we interviewed teacher "who is the proper object of first stage early adjustment program?" The result was teacher(37.8%) and infant(23.6%). And we asked "which one is proper way of evaluation about infant`s early adjustment?" The observation of adaptation behavior was ranked high. In addition teacher make much of infant`s developing disposition and individual disposition. surroundings , attitude of teacher. There were a lot of requirement of teacher for early adjustment: providing early adjustment programand training, supporting proper circumstance, organized educating parent, teacher`s affirmative attitude and recognition change, national policy etc.
