부모의 완벽주의 성향에 따른 걱정 및 불확실성에 대한 인내력과의 관계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 청소년이 지각한 완벽주의 성향에 따른 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족과 걱정수준의 관계를 알아보고자 하는 것이었다. 본 연구에 사용된 도구는 펜실베니아 걱정증상 질문지(PSQP), 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족(IU), 다차원적 완벽주의(MPS)이고, 서울과 경기 지역의 중학교 2,3학년을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다.

첫째, 청소년이 지각한 부모의 완벽주의 성향이 높을수록 청소년의 걱정수준은 높았다. 부모의 완벽주의 중 어머니의 완벽주의가 아버지의 완벽주의 보다 청소년에 미치는 영향이 더 컸으며, 완벽주의의 하위요인 중에서는 아버지의 실수에 대한 염려, 어머니의 조직화와 수행에 대한 의심이 걱정수준에 미치는 영향이 다른 요인에 비해 컸다.

둘째, 청소년이 지각한 부모의 완벽주의 성향이 높을수록 청소년의 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족은 높았다. 부모의 완벽주의 하위요인 중 아버지의 실수에 대한 염려, 어머니의 조직화와 실수에 대한 염려, 수행에 대한 의심이 청소년의 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족이 미치는 영향이 다른 요인 보다 컸다.

셋째, 불확실성에 대한 인내력이 부족할수록 걱정수준은 높았다.

넷째, 청소년이 지각한 부모의 완벽주의 성향과 청소년의 걱정수준과의 관계에서 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족이 매개변인의 역할을 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between intolerance and worry about uncertainty depending on perfectionism perceived by adolescents. The tools include the Penn State Worry Questionnaire (PSWQ), Intolerance of Uncertainty (IU), and Multidimensional Perfectionism (MPS), and targeted 2nd and 3rd graders for middle school in Seoul and Gyeonggi area. The results of this study are as follows.

First, the higher the parents'' perfectionism perceived by adolescents, the higher the worry in adolescents was. Out of parents'' perfectionism, a mother''s perfectionism had more influence upon adolescents than a father''s, and among sub-factors of perfectionism, the effects of a father''s concern about a mistake and of a mother''s doubt about systematization and performance upon the worry were bigger in comparison with other facters.
Second, the higher the parents'' perfectionism perceived by adolescents, the higher intolerance of uncertainty in adolescents was higher. Among sub-factors of parents'' perfectionism, the effects of a father''s concern about a mistake, of a mother''s worry about systematization and a mistake, and of a mother''s doubt about performance upon the intolerance in comparison with other facters.

Third, the more the intolerance of uncertainty, the worry was higher.
