구체물을 이용한 분수지도 효과에 관한 연구 : 패턴블록을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 4학년 수학학습 부진아의 분수지도에 구체물을 활용하여 이들에게 충분한 수학 학습의 기회를 제공하여 그들의 분수에 대한 학습 성취를 높이기 위하여 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다.
패턴블록을 중심으로 구체물을 이용한 학습 활동이 4학년 수학학습부진아의 분수학습 성취에 영항을 미치는가?
이러한 연구 문제를 해결하기 위하여 경기도 수원의 W초등학교 4학년 수학학습부진아를 대상으로 진단평가를 실시하여 3명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 본 프로그램을 적용하고 학생별 성취를 알아보았다.
본 연구의 사전·사후 검사지는 총 26문항으로 수학교과서와 수학익힘책을 참고하여 제작하였으며 경력 20년 이상의 2명의 교사에게 검수받았다. 중재도구는 똑같이 나누기, 전체와 부분의 크기를 알아보기, 자연수의 분수만큼 알아보기, 몇인지 알아보기, 분자가 1인 분수의 크기 비교하기, 분수로 나타내기, 대분수와 가분수를 서로 고치기, 분수의 덧셈, 분수의 뺄셈의 9주제 총 10차시로 구성하여 패턴블록을 중심으로 빵, 과자, 색종이, 바둑돌, 분수막대 등의 구체물을 사용하여 지도하였다.
본 연구의 결과는 사전·사후 검사를 통해 학습주제별 정답문항개수의 차이를 살펴보고 그것을 학생별로 표와 그래프로 나타내고 기록하였다.
본 연구 결과 구체물을 통한 분수지도 프로그램은 아동의 학습 성취에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 사후검사1과 2에서 세 아동 공통으로 똑같은 높은 성취를 보인 것은 9가지 주제 중 7대분수와 가분수를 서로 고치기, 8분수의 덧셈, 9분수의 뺄셈이었는데 이때 사용된 구체물이 패턴블록이었다. 이것으로 보아 패턴 블록은 7, 8, 9 주제에 있어 패턴블록 없이도 문제를 해결할 수 있게 하는 학습 전이력이 높은 유용한 자료였다.
본 연구 결과를 기초로 하여 몇 가지 제언을 하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 분수지도 학습에 있어 본 연구에서 사용한 구체물 이외에 보다 효과적이고 다양한 학습 자료로서의 구체물이 개발 적용될 필요가 있다.
둘째, 본 연구의 검사지는 난이도 중과 하로만 제작 사용하였는데 난이도 상의 문제에 대해서도 구체물을 활용하여 아동이 보다 폭넓고 확산된 사고를 할 수 있도록 하는 연구가 실시되어야 하겠다.
셋째, 분수영역뿐 아니라 수학의 다양한 영역에서 패턴블록을 활용한 학습지도 프로그램이 개발, 적용되어야 하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The study offer these opportunity of enough mathematics learning because the 4th grade mathematics studying slump utilizes concrete to a spray pond degree and established following subject of study to improve studying accomplishment for their fraction
Program that use concrete centering around pattern blocks the 4th grade class mathematics studying slump in fraction studying accomplishment affect?
Applies program that chose 3 students for study target executing diagnostic evaluation to forth-year student mathematics studying slump of W elementary school in Suwon to solve these subject of study and searched accomplishment by a student.
Pretest and posttest of this study made refering to a mathematics textbook and mathematics exercise book have 26 problems and this was inspected by 2 teachers tallies more than career 20 years. An intervention tool is 10 hours composed of 9 subjects and this use concrete of bread, cookies, colored paper, stone checkers, fraction band etc centering around pattern blocks.
Sequence of this study examines difference of correct answer number by studying subject and displays by table and graph by a student and recorded it.
This program is positive in child's studying accomplishment. That high accomplishment that is same by three child commons in post-inspection 1 and 2 is 7,8,9 subjects, Concrete used this time was a pattern block. See as this and pattern block was useful matter that studying power that do as can solve problem without pattern block in 7, 8 or 9 subject is high.
Based on this study findings, is as following if do several offers.
First, Concrete as more effective and various studying matter need to be developed and is applied
Second, test problem have to be made of problem of degree of difficulty and used.
Third, studying program that utilize pattern block in various area of mathematics as well as fraction area has to develop and is applied.
