내부-외부 통제성 및 비합리적 신념이 특수교사의 소진경향성에 미치는 영향

(Abstract)
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of Internal-External Control and Irrational Belief on Burn-out Tendency of the teachers for the handicapped.
The subjects of this study were 300 teachers working for the handicapped in Korea, 225 teachers have responded to my questionnaire.
The instruments used here were Burn-out Test, Internal-External Test, Irrational Belief Test and the collected data was analyzed using SPSS 12.0, and Accident amount-correlation analysis, Multiple regression analysis, Stepwise multiple regression analysis were used to verify the differences of the results.
The results acquired were as follows: First, the lower factors of Internal and External Control are significant in describing Burn-out Tendency of the teachers for the handicapped and the cause of them was highly reliable. Second, Prophetic changing factors, which significantly explain Burn-out Tendency of the teachers for the handicapped, from the lower factors of Irrational belief appear Desire on recognition, Dependency, Perfect solution in order. In order words, Burn-out Tendency of the teachers for the handicapped becomes higher as the above prophetic changing factors go higher. Third, in the result of examining the stepwise effect of the lower changing factors of Internal-External Control and Irrational Belief, it is discovered that Internal Control is the changing factor which explains Burn-out Tendency of the teachers for the handicapped, and Enervation, External Control, Desire on recognition, Trouble avoidance, Dependency follow Internal Control.
Thus, we predict that Burn-out Tendency of the teachers goes higher as Internal Control goes lower, Enervation goes higher, External Control goes higher, Desire on recognition goes lower, Trouble avoidance goes higher, Dependency goes higher.
The results implied that in order to decrease the burn-out tendency of the teachers for the handicapped some interventions for increasing the teachers' internal control ability.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

(초록)
본 연구의 목적은 내부-외부 통제성 및 비합리적 신념이 특수교사의 소진경향성에 미치는 영향을 검증하는데 있다.
연구의 대상은 전국에 근무하는 특수교사 300명에게 질문지를 배부하였으나 회수한 225명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 사용한 측정도구는 소진검사, 내부-외부 통제 검사, 비합리적 신념검사를 사용하였으며 수집된 자료는 SPSS 12.0을 사용하였으며 차이를 검증하기 위해서 이변량 상관분석과 중다회귀분석(multiple regression analysis), 단계적 중다회귀분석(stepwise multiple regression analysis)을 실시하였다.
본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내부 통제성과 외부 통제성의 하위 요인 모두가 특수교사의 소진경향성을 유의미하게 설명하였다. 둘째, 비합리적 신념의 하위요인 중 특수교사의 소진경향성을 유의미하게 설명하는 예언 변인은 인정에 대한 욕구, 의존성, 완벽한 해결 순으로 나타났다. 구체적으로 인정에 대한 욕구, 의존성, 완벽한 해결에 대한 요구가 높을수록 특수교사의 소진경향성이 높았다. 셋째, 내부-외부 통제성과 비합리적 신념의 각 하위변인들을 함께 투입하여 특수교사의 소진경향성을 예언하는데 있어 유의미한 모델을 탐색해 본 결과, 내부통제, 무기력, 외부통제, 인정에 대한 욕구, 문제회피, 의존성이 선정되었다. 구체적으로, 내부통제가 낮을수록, 무기력이 높을수록, 외부통제가 높을수록, 인정에 대한 욕구가 낮을수록, 문제회피가 높을수록, 의존성이 높을수록 특수교사의 소진경향성이 높다고 예측하여 설명할 수 있다.
본 연구의 결과를 통하여 특히 특수교사의 외부통제를 감소시키고 내부통제를 증진시켜주는 것이 소진 경향성을 감소시키는데 기여할 것으로 추론해 볼 수 있다.
