대학 체육전공자들의 장래 직업기대에 따른 전공만족 연구

(Abstract)
This study has conducted a statistical verification as follows according to the object of analyzing the materials through SPSS WIN 10.0 by using the questionnaires of 505 students of the departments of physical education attending the 4-year colleges Daegu and North Gyungsang Province as of April of 2006 with a view to examining positively the satisfaction with the majors on the basis of the future job expectations of those students majoring in the departments of physical education.
The findings of the study on the basis of these methods of the study and the analyses of the materials are as follows:
First, it has been found that the job expectations of the specialists in physical education of colleges have a positive influence on the satisfaction with the curriculums.
Second, it has been found that the job expectations of the specialists in physical education of colleges have a significant influence on the career direction.
Third, it has been found that the job expectations of the specialists in physical education of colleges have a significant influence on the satisfaction of the social awareness.
Fourth, it has been found that the job expectations and the satisfaction with the majors of the specialists in physical education have a significant influence among groups.
After considering all the factors, it has been concluded that the future job expectations of the specialists in physical education of the colleges have an influence on the satisfaction with the majors. These days, the reality is that, compared with the increase of the graduates of the colleges, the social conditions to admit them are considerably insufficient. If we can say that the object of the college education so far has been to carry on the professional education for the limited students with the object of seeking truth, it is necessary to change the vocational education itself slowly as the object in the future.
We can say that the changes in the labor markets, the extension of the time to decide on the careers due to the high scholastic achievement and so on furthermore emphasize the importance of the choice of the college careers and education.

본 연구는 대학 체육계열 전공자들의 장래 직업기대에 따른 전공만족에 과하여 실증적으로 규명 할 목적으로 2006년 4월 현재 대구와 경상북도에 소재하는 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 체육계열 전공학생들 505명이 답변한 설문지를 이용하여 SPSS WIN 10.0으로 자료 분석의 목적에 따라 다음과 같이 통계적인 검증을 실시하였다.
이상의 연구방법 및 자료 분석결과를 기초로 한 연구에서 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 대학 체육전공자들의 직업기대가 교과만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학 체육전공자들의 직업기대가 진로방향에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학 체육전공자들의 직업기대가 사회적 인식만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 대학 체육전공자들의 직업기대와 전공만족은 집단간에 유의한 영향을 미친다.
이를 종합해 볼 때, 대학 체육전공자들의 장래 직업기대는 전공만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 현재 대학졸업자의 증가에 비해 이를 수용할 사회적 여건은 상당히 부족한 것이 현실이다. 여태까지의 대학교육이 진리탐구에 목적을 둔 제한된 인원들에 대한 전문교육을 목표로 하였다면 이제는 직업교육 자체가 목표로서 서서히 바뀌어 가야 할 것이다.
노동시장의 변화와 고학력으로 인한 진로결정시기의 연장 등은 더욱이 대학 진로선택 및 교육에 대한 중요성을 더욱 강조해 준다고 할 수 있을 것이다.
