(Abstract)
The purpose of this study was to examine effects of interactive bibliotherapy on the social ability of elementary school children. The experiment is carried out for 32 participants in 3 group. Treatment group is carried out interactive bibliotherapy program, comparative group is not carried the same program after reading, and control group is played through another recreational activities.
The employed statistical analysis method is 3×2 repeated measures ANOVA. The test is comprised of 3 scale parts such as Kendall and Wilcox's Self Regulation scale, Schlein & Guerney's relationship scale, and Rosenberg's Self-esteem scale.
The results of this study can be summarized as follow: The increase of self-regulation and peer-relationship has been observed amongst participants as a result of program implementation. These result indicate that the interactive bibliotherapy program is effective on the improvement of self-regulation, relationship for the children. In addition, interactive bibliotherapy program will contribute to the counseling method.
