      This study aimed at identifying the effects of meditation music with nature sound on primary school children's state anxiety. Focused on this purpose, we supposed that there is a remarkable difference of the average prior and posterior scores of state anxiety between the controlled group and the experimental group which is furnished with meditation music with nature sound.
      The subject of this study included 60 3rd grade students of two classes in A elementary school in K city Chungchungnamdo province. They were divided half into an experimental group and a controlled group.
      We had the experimental group listen to meditation music with nature sound for 20 minutes 4 times a week, and this program lasted 6 weeks. However, the controlled group was not provided the music. Then each group took prior and posterior experiment.
      Regarding elementary school students' taste and interest, the arranged meditation music with nature sound was reorganized with 6 songs based on prior research works.
      Tools of measuring for the study included a valuation sheet on state anxiety.
      Homogeneity examination was processed to the groups with the corresponding sample t-test to identify a statically significant decrease of state anxiety, and repeated variables measurement analysis process was used with the SPSS program.
      In the prior experiment, the experimental group and the controlled group were revealed homogeneous and as a result of the repeated variables measurement analysis, the experimental group showed a more remarkable decrease than the controlled group. Moreover analysing the interaction effect on the scores of prior and posterior experiment, the experiment effect was positive. Therefore meditation music with nature sound has a positive effect on the decrease of elementary school students' state anxiety.
      In conclusion, it is surmised that meditation music with nature sound can help elementary school students to reduce state anxiety. It could be worthwhile to apply meditation music with nature sound to those who has difficulty in making public in school, having test, and relationship so on.
