아동학대예방을 위한 교육모형 연구

The purpose of this study was to investigate into the recognition and the needs for child abuse, targeting teachers who are working at the preschool education institutions based on the realities and the present status of child abuse, with focusing on child abuse within home, and to present an educational model available for practice targeting preschoolers and parents at the preschool education institutions, based on the results.
The following are the problems of a research, which were established in this study.
1) What about teachers' recognition and request for the development of an educational model aiming to prevent child abuse?
(1) What about the overall recognition and practice aiming to prevent child abuse?
(2) What about the necessity of an educational model and the request for its direction aiming to prevent child abuse?
(3) What about the request for the contents of an educational model aiming to prevent child abuse?
2) How can it be formed an educational model aiming to prevent child abuse practicable at preschool education institutions?
In putting forward a preventively educational model aiming to prevent child abuse, this study was progressed by largely dividing into two stages.
First, as a stage of preliminary survey in a bid to develop an educational model aiming to prevent child abuse, it carried out questionnaire research targeting 253 teachers by randomly selecting preschool education institutions where are located in Seoul, Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam areas. The analysis of materials collected, was calculated with basic statistics such as frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation, by utilizing SPSS WIN(12.O) program.
Second, it made up an educational model to prevent child abuse based on the primary preliminary survey, and this process was participated together the relevant experts in addition to this researcher.
Accordingly, given simply summing up the results of this study, those are as follows.
First, in the preliminary survey related to seriousness of child abuse, was shown recognition in high level, and it was said to be required a preventively educational model aiming to prevent child abuse. The parts necessary for an preschool education model aiming to prevent child abuse, were indicated evenly and broadly the understanding of abuse, understanding of children's right, a plan for the living practice in a method of coping with abuse, and a method of reporting child abuse. And a parental education model was indicated evenly and broadly the right understanding of abuse, understanding of children's development, the prevention and countermeasure for child abuse at home, a proper instruction method, and education of preventing violence.
Second, on the basis of the materials analyzed in the preliminary survey, as an educational model aiming to prevent child abuse, this study presented the preschool education model with totally 11 semesters which included the understanding of abuse, understanding of children's right, a method of coping with abuse, and a method of reporting child abuse, and a parental education model with totally 7 semesters which included education of preventing violence, understanding of children's development, understanding of child abuse, a proper instruction method, and the prevention and countermeasure for child abuse at home.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 가정 내의 아동학대에 초점을 두고 아동학대의 실태와 현황을 바탕으로 유아교육기관에 종사하고 있는 교사를 대상으로, 아동학대에 대한 인식과 요구도를 조사하고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 유아교육기관에서 유아와 부모를 대상으로 하여 실천 가능한 교육 모형을 제시하고자 하였다.
본 연구에서 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다.
1) 아동학대 예방을 위한 교육모형 개발에 대한 교사들의 인식 및 요구는 어떠한가?
(1) 아동학대 예방을 위한 전반적인 인식 및 실천은 어떠한가?
(2) 아동학대 예방을 위한 교육모형의 필요성 및 방향에 대한 요구는 어떠한가?
(3) 아동학대 예방을 위한 교육모형의 내용에 대한 요구는 어떠한가?
2) 유아교육기관에서 실천 가능한 아동학대 예방을 위한 교육모형은 어떻게 구성될 수 있는가?
아동학대 예방을 위한 예방교육 모형을 제시함에 있어 본 연구는 크게 두 단계로 나누어 진행되었다.
첫째, 아동학대 예방을 위한 교육모형 개발을 위한 예비조사의 단계로 서울, 부산, 울산, 경북, 경남지방에 소재한 유아교육기관을 임의 선정하여 교사 253명을 대상으로 설문지 조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석은 SPSS WIN(12.O) 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차 등의 기초 통계로 산출하였다.
둘째, 1차 예비조사를 바탕으로 아동학대 예방교육모형을 구성하였으며, 이 과정에는 본 연구자 외에 관련 전문가가 함께 참여하였다.
이에 본 연구의 결과를 간단히 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 아동학대 심각성과 관련한 예비조사에서 높은 수준의 인지도를 보였으며, 아동학대 예방을 위해 예방교육모형이 필요하다고 하였다. 아동학대예방을 위한 유아교육 모형에서 필요한 부분은 학대에 대한 이해, 아동권리의 이해, 학대 대처방법의 생활실천 방안, 아동학대 신고방법이 부모교육 모형에서는 학대에 대한 올바른 이해, 아동발달에 대한이해, 가정에서의 아동학대 예방과 대처법, 적절한 훈육방법, 폭력예방교육이 고루 넓게 나타났다.
둘째, 사전 예비조사 분석 자료를 토대로 본 연구에서는 아동학대 예방을 위한 교육모형으로 아동학대의 이해, 아동권리의 이해, 학대대처방법, 아동학대신고방법이 포함된 총 11회기의 유아교육모형과 폭력예방교육, 아동발달의 이해, 아동학대의 이해, 적절한 훈육방법, 가정에서의 아동학대 예방과 대처방법이 포함된 총 7회기의 부모교육모형을 제시하였다.
