The purpose of this thesis is to discover the effects that 12-week aerobic exercise frequency has on the physical strength and fat in the blood of middle-aged overweight women. The subjects are 10 people with 30% of fat inside the body who participate in the Health Promotion Campaign by the public health center of K city. They participated in the exercise program using Tredmill for 12 weeks.
The results are as follows.
1. Physical strength
1) There was no significant difference in the change of muscular strength in case of three times a week. But there was signigicant difference according to periods (before exercise, 6 weeks after exercise, and 12 weeks after exercise) in case of 5 times a week.
2) There was significant difference in the change of flexibility according to exercise frequency (3 times a week and 5 times a week) and periods (before exercise, 6 weeks after exercise, and 12 weeks after exercise).
3) There was significant difference in the change of muscular staying power according to exercise frequency (3 times a week and 5 times a week) and periods (before exercise, 6 weeks after exercise, and 12 weeks after exercise).
4) In the change of explosive muscular strength, there was no significant difference in case of 3 times a week, but there was significant difference in periods (before exercise, 6 weeks after exercise, and 12 weeks after exercise).
5) There was no significant difference in the change of agility according to exercise frequency (3 times a week and 5 times a week) and periods (before exercise, 6 weeks after exercise, and 12 weeks after exercise).
6) There was significant difference in the change of equilibrium according to exercise frequency (3 times a week and 5 times a week) and periods (before exercise, 6 weeks after exercise, and 12 weeks after exercise).
2. Fat in the blood
1) There was statistically significant difference in the change of TC according to exercise frequency (3 times a week and 5 times a week) and periods (before exercise, 6 weeks after exercise, and 12 weeks after exercise).
2) There was statistically significant difference in the change of TG according to exercise frequency (3 times a week and 5 times a week) and periods (before exercise, 6 weeks after exercise, and 12 weeks after exercise).
3) There was statistically significant difference in the change of HDL-C according to exercise frequency (3 times a week and 5 times a week) and periods (before exercise, 6 weeks after exercise, and 12 weeks after exercise).
4) There was statistically significant difference in the change of LDL-C according to exercise frequency (3 times a week and 5 times a week) and periods (before exercise, 6 weeks after exercise, and 12 weeks after exercise).
