충북지역 노인일자리 사업 참여자의 참여실태에 관한 조사연구 : 참여만족도 및 태도변화에 영향을 미치는 요인을 중심으로 = (A) Study on the Actual Participation Condition of the Participants in Older People's Job-Creating Projects in Chungcheongbuk-do : Focusing on the Factors Having Influence upon Participati on Satisfactions and Attitude Changes

These days, Korea rapidly made aging society before preparing for such a situation privately and socially because of development of scientific technology, in particular, medical science technology to create a variety of old people related problems such as support for old people, health problem and social alienation and to increase sustenance allowance nationally and decrease productivity as well as national competitiveness. Therefore, the Government made productive aging programs to prepare for not only population aging but also future society and to carry out old people's job-creating projects from 2004.
Therefore, the old people's job-creating projects that were currently promoted could be the most suitable alternative plan in preparation for aging society from point of view of individuals, family and society.
This study investigated actual participation conditions of the old people who participated in old people's job-creating projects throughout the nation, and examined various kinds of factors having influence upon the participants' satisfaction and attitude changes, so that it supplied basic material to promote the projects and to contribute to development of the projects.
The subjects were old people who lived in Chungcheongbuk-do and participated in old people's job-creating projects.
The participants were largely satisfied with old people's job-creating projects to show affirmative attitude changes. However, the participants' income satisfaction was very much low to give important suggestion.
The findings were as follows:
Firstly, the old people who participated in old people's job-creating projects had a variety of desire depending upon private and social situation, so that suitable jobs should be developed enough to meet individuals' ability and desire.
Secondly, the income level of old people's jobs should vary depending upon types and forms of the jobs, and positive support program should be made to increase the income level.
Thirdly, the central government, local government and associated organizations should expand marketplace job creating projects. The support for marketplace projects should be reinforced than present level of the support, and tax benefit for competitiveness, public institutions' preferential procurement of products and active and various laws and regulations for the socially weak, etc should be made.
Fourthly, preliminary education for the participants was essentially required to do and evaluate it effectively.
Fifthly, old people's job-creating projects were likely to expand in preparation for aging society. Therefore, a variety of researches on old people's job-creating projects having various subjects should be continuously made, for instance, the research depending upon regional features to promote and develop old people's job-creating projects, the effects and influence of the participants's education, and in-depth researches by each business entity, etc.
