학교 운동부 코치의 리더십 유형이 신뢰와 지도효율성에 미치는 영향 = (The)effect of athletic coach's leadership style on trust and coaching effectiveness in high school and college teams

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 고등학교와 대학교의 단체종목 운동선수를 대상으로 학교 운동부 코치의 리더십 유형이 신뢰와 지도효율성에 미치는 영향을 규명하고 성별에 따른 연구모형의 차이를 분석하는 것이다. 이와 같은 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 전국 8개 지역에서 고교 22개 팀, 대학 24개 팀의 남녀 운동선수 598명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다.$$a$$a자료의 처리는 윈도우용 SPSS 12.0과 AMOS 5.0 통계패키지를 사용하여 먼저 확인적 요인분석(confirmatory factor analysis)과 Cronbach''s α 검증을 실시하여 조사도구의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 또한 연구대상자들의 일반적 특성을 알아보기 위하여 빈도분석(frequency analysis)을 실시하고, 본 연구의 가설을 검증하기 위하여 구조방정식모형분석(structural equation modeling)과 다중집단분석(multi-group analysis)을 실시한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다.$$a$$a첫째, 학교 운동부 코치의 서번트 리더십은 지도자 신뢰에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.$$a$$a둘째, 학교 운동부 코치의 카리스마적 리더십은 지도자 신뢰에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.$$a$$a셋째, 학교 운동부 코치의 서번트 리더십은 지도효율성에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않고 신뢰를 매개로 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.$$a$$a넷째, 학교 운동부 코치의 카리스마 리더십은 지도효율성에 직접적인 영향과 신뢰를 매개로 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.$$a$$a다섯째, 지도자 신뢰는 지도효율성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.$$a$$a여섯째, 선수의 성별에 따라 리더십 유형이 신뢰와 지도효율성에 미치는 영향에는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 구체적으로 카리스마리더십-->지도효율성의 경로가 남자그룹에서 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 여자그룹에서는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.$$a$$a마지막으로, 남자선수들이 여자선수들 보다 사기, 운동생활성과, 지속적 몰입이 높게 나타났으며, 고등학교 선수가 대학교의 선수보다 사기, 정서적 몰입, 지속적 몰입, 규범적 몰입이 높게 나타났다.$$a$$a

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate how coach''s leadership style affects coaching effectiveness and athletes'' trust toward coach in the high schools and the colleges. This study also looked at the differences between male and female athletes according to the research model. 598 male and female athletes from 22 high school athletic teams and 24 college athletic teams in 8 provinces participated in the survey. On behalf of the implemented instrument''s validity and reliability, this study utilized confirmatory factor analysis and validity test with Cronbach''s α in SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 5.0. This study also implemented frequency analysis to understand participants'' general characteristics. Through structural equation modeling and multi-group analysis, the results of the study were as follows:$$a$$a1. Coach''s servant leadership significantly influenced athletes'' trust toward coach.$$a$$a2. Coach''s charismatic leadership significantly influenced athletes'' trust toward coach.$$a$$a3. Coach''s servant leadership did not influence coaching effectiveness but did significantly influence coaching effectiveness with mediation of athletes'' trust toward coach.$$a$$a4. Coach''s charismatic leadership significantly influenced coaching effectiveness, and athletes'' trust toward coach mediated the influence of coach''s charismatic leadership toward coaching effectiveness.$$a$$a5. Athletes'' trust toward coach significantly influenced with coaching effectiveness.$$a$$a6. Charismatic leadership significantly influenced coaching effectiveness especially among male athletes while it did not among female athletes.$$a$$a7. Male athletes score higher than female in athletic morale, athletic life and continuance commitment, and high school athletes have higher scores in athletic morale, affective commitment, continuance commitment, and normative commitment than college athletes.$$a$$a
