청소년의 인터넷 중독실태에 관한 연구 : 영광지역 고등학생을 중심으로 = A Study on Internet Addiciton of teenagers : Focusing on Hight School Students in YoungKwang

국문 초록 (Abstract)

인터넷 이용률이 급속하게 증가하면서 사회적 문제로 인터넷 중독증이나 사이버 범죄와 같은 정보화의 역기능이 사회전반에 걸쳐 확산되었다. 특히 청소년들의 인터넷 중독이 심각한 사회적 문제로 대두되었다. 이러한 추세에 따라 청소년을 대상으로 한 연구가 이루어지고 있으나 대부분 도시지역 청소년에 대한 인터넷 중독관련 연구이고, 농어촌 청소년에 대한 연구는 아직 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 농어촌지역 고등학생 480명을 대상으로 인터넷 이용실태와 인터넷 중독실태를 파악하고 인터넷 중독과 관련된 특성을 분석하였다.
본 연구 결과, 44.2%만이 정상적인 인터넷 사용자이고, 과반수이상의 학생이 중독되었거나 중독될 수 있는 가능성이 있는 상황으로 나타났으며, 인터넷을 통하여 온라인 게임, 정보검색과 같은 흥미와 오락 중심의 활동을 가장 많이 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 사실들은 농어촌지역도 도시지역과 마찬가지로 청소년들이 인터넷 중독에 무방비 상태로 노출되어 있음을 보여주고, 이들에 대한 인터넷 중독예방 교육의 필요성을 제시하고 있다.

In the result of the fast increasing of internet use, malfunctions of information oriented society such as Internet addiction and cyber crime have spread through all over the society.
Especially teenagers' addiction on internet is most serious problem of society.
Following the tendency of this aspect , the researches have been done on teenagers but mostly on those who live in urban areas and yet the researches on teenagers living in rural areas are not enough.
Therefore, this research has analyzed the characteristics and actual conditions related to internet addiction from 480 high school students of YoungKwang region.
The research result shows that only 44.2% are normal internet users and majority of students are already addicted or possible to be addicted soon. Also the result shows that they mainly use internet for on-line games and information search as for entertainment and pleasure.
These truths show that teenagers as farming and fishing villages regional chart urban areas were revealed in open state in Internet poisoning, and institute necessity of Internet addiction prevention education about these.
