This study is intended to develope the program as traditional ethics which must be recoverd based on the principle, 'PUJA-JAHYO' that is, parents must be full of affection and sons and daughters must be devoted to their parents and intended to verify the effect. The meaning of 'PUJA-JAHYO'(parents must be full of affection and sons and daughters must be devoted to their parents) is a principle which has mutual direction, mutual responsibility, and alternate filial piety.
It means simultaneousness that the parents show deep affection toward their children and the children are dutiful to their parents. The constructs of 'PUJA-JAHYO' were selected for the purpose of the program based on the principle of 'PUJA-JAHYO'. This project was processed as study case 1 and the constructs of 'PUJA-JAHYO' were arranged with preceding study and theory. The 5 constructs and the 13 elements are chosen for 'PUJA' (parents must be full of affection) and the 5 constructs and the 14 elements for 'JAHYO'(sons and daughters must be devoted to their parents).
The 5 constructs are responsibility, discipline, moral training, respect, and patience. Regarding elements of each constructs, responsibility of PUJA(parents must be full of affection) includes sincerity, devotion, and concern. Discipline includes parental authority and strict parents. In study case 2, this constructs, which were considered as the main subject of the program in a session, were used to develop PUJA in 6 sessions program and JAHYO in 10 sessions program. The process of development is as follows. The findings were showed by investigating experimental group attending the program.
In study case 3, the effects of PUJA and JAHYO education program , which had been developed in study case 2 , were verified and analysed. For this, control group for pre/post experiment was designed and experimented.
After the experiment, pre - examination scores was compared with post - examination scores. As a result, there were meaningful effects in the statistics of PUJA and JAHYO education program . education program. The PUJA education program helped parents promote their roles and their children perceive their parents affectionate which was a traditional way in korea.
In addition, the verification of the effects shows that JAHYO education program encoraged children to care their parents and to promote this good manner. Mothers of the children in the program reported children's meaningful change. Self - evaluation of the children revealed the change of filial piety and act. The change of mothers and their children in thoughts and manner was showed not only in an analysis in quantity but also in an analysis in quality,
As a conclusion, this PUJA and JAHYO education program was developed for the first time as the study of filial piety - education program on the mothers and their children at the same time.
