Aiming to examine the difference in deviant behaviors depending on the school-environment characteristics, on the realities of deviant behaviors, and on the general characteristics, and the school-environment factors that have the most important influence upon the deviant behavior, this study surveyed and analyzed targeting 308 high-school students, and obtained the following conclusions.
First, the factor, which was most negatively perceived among adolescents' school-environment characteristics, was indicated in order of a teacher's interest, school-work stress, the satisfaction at a teacher's disciplinary method, a friend's effect, and a sense of alienation. Second, the deviant behavior was represented to be higher in order of the status delinquency, the violent behavior, the drug abuse, and the sexual-problem behavior. Third, as for the deviant behavior depending on adolescents' general characteristics, there was difference in a system, the experience of entering and leaving a police station, and the experience of good behavior, and it was not shown the difference in gender and in record. Fourth, as for the desire for the school social-welfare service depending on school-environment factors, the more students have school-work stress, it was higher in a desire for the recognition of a student and for school-work counseling, a desire for personal feelings and for treatment, and a desire for the utilization of resources and for a change, and the more students feel a sense of alienation, it was higher in a desire for personal feelings and for treatment. And, the higher a friend's effect and the number of friends with deviant behavior, it was higher in a desire for the recognition of a student and for school-work counseling, and a desire for personal feelings and for treatment. Fifth, as for the desire for the school social-welfare service depending on adolescents' deviant behavior, the students, who have experience of the status delinquency and the violent behavior, had a higher desire for personal feelings and for treatment among desires for school welfare service. Sixthly, it was represented the positive correlation all in the correlations between the school-environment factors and the deviant behavior. In particular, it had higher relevance with adolescents' deviant behavior in order of the degree in friends with deviant behavior, the satisfaction with a teacher's disciplinary method, and a friend's effect. Seventh, the status delinquency among school environments, has influence in order of the degree in friends with deviant behavior, the satisfaction with a teacher's disciplinary method, and a friend's effect, and a sense of alienation, and the drug abuse has influence in order of the number in friends with deviant behavior, the satisfaction with a teacher's disciplinary method, and a sense of alienation. And, the sexual-problem behavior has influence in order of the number in friends with deviant behavior, and the satisfaction with a teacher's disciplinary method, and the violent-problem behavior has influence in order of the degree in friends with deviant behavior, a friend's influence, and the satisfaction with a teacher's disciplinary method. The factor, which has the highest influence upon the wholly deviant behaviors, is the degree in friends with deviant behavior, and the next was indicated in order of the satisfaction with a teacher's disciplinary method, a friend's influence, and a sense of alienation.
Based on theses results, a plan for school social-welfare service approach depending on adolescents' school environment and deviant behavior, is available for the approach of a program through the connecting service with an expert, such as the individual counseling, the violation-prevention education, the friendship support, the drug-abuse prevention program, the sexual education, the career counseling, the psychological and aptitude text, and the communication skill, and even other than the school social-welfare service that was classified in this study, it can be said to be the subject that needs to be constantly researched the development of diverse services in line with school environment and adolescents' real situation.
