전래동요를 활용한 음운인식중재가 다운증후군 아동의 음운 변동 개선에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Phonological Awareness Training Using Traditional Children's Songs on the Improvement of Phonological Process of Down Syndrome Children

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 다운증후군 아동에게 전래동요를 활용한 음운인식 프로그램을 적용하여 음운인식 능력 및 부정적 음운변동 개선에 대한 효과를 알아보기 위하여 실시하였다. 연구의 대상은 3명의 다운증후군 아동으로 하였다. 음운인식 프로그램은 크게 단어, 음절, 음소 수준으로 나누어 각 단계마다 하위 과업들을 두었다. 그리고 매 세션 전ㆍ후로 음운인식 과업을 도와주는 전래동요를 부르게 하였다. 실험 설계는 사전ㆍ사후로 하였다. 결과분석은 음운인식능력 평가 및 부정적 음운 변동 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 중재 전ㆍ후 음운인식 도구의 백분율 점수를 알아본 결과, 다운증후 군 아동 3명의 음운인식 능력은 뚜렷한 개선을 보여주었다.
둘째, 그림자음 검사를 이용한 부정적 음운 변동 분석을 한 결과, 다운증후군 아동 3명의 부정적 음운변동은 생략 및 대치 변동 모두에서 유의미한 개선 정도를 보였다.
이와 같은 결과로 미루어 볼 때, 음운인식 능력이 높아짐에 따라 부정적 음운 변동이 많이 개선되고, 전래동요를 활용한 음운인식 중재가 직접적 조음ㆍ음운 치료는 아니지만 부정적 음운 변동을 감소시킬 수 있다고 결론 내릴 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of phonological awareness programs using traditional children's songs on the improvement of phonological awareness ability and negative phonological process of Down syndrome children. This study participated on 3 Down syndrome children. The phonological awareness program largely divided into the stages of words, syllables and phonemes. And the children sung traditional children's songs which help phonological awareness before and after each session. The experiment designed as pre-experiment and post-experiment. For result analysis, phonological awareness ability evaluation and negative phonological process analysis were conducted.
The results of this study were as follows:
Firstly, The 3 Down syndrome children showed obvious improvement in phonological awareness ability.
Secondly, Negative phonological process of the 3 Down syndrome children showed meaningful improvement in the both process of omission and substitution.
From these results, it concluded that negative phonological process conspicuously improved as phonological awareness ability improves, and that the intervention of phonological awareness using traditional children's songs reduced negative phonological process although it was not a direct articulation and phonological treatment.
