유아 재능 개발을 위한 음악교육에 관한 실태 연구 : 유아 재능 개발을 위한 음악교육에 관한 실태 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 조기 음악교육이 아이들의 정서나 두뇌 성장에 있어 그 효과가 입증된 만큼 유아의 음악교육에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 조기음악교육에 대한 교수법의 개발과 중요성에 대한 인식 부족으로 많은 유아교육기관에서 아직도 구태의연한 과거의 방법만을 되풀이하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 유아기 음악교육의 중요성을 인식하고 현장의 유아교사에게 새롭게 연구 개발된 교수법을 알리어 세계화를 향한 21세기 유아음악교육을 실현하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다.
본 연구는 먼저 유아음악교육의 이론적 배경, 유아음악 이론, 방법론 및 내용을 종합적으로 고찰하고 설문지를 통해 유치원의 유아음악교육 실태를 조사 연구하였다. 설문지의 분석결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 교사의 자질에서는 많은 수의 유치원에서 음악전문교사가 없이 수업이 이루어지고 있었으며 교사들은 유아음악 프로그램에 대한 관심도가 높았다.
둘째, 학습교구에서 살펴보면 유아들은 건반교육이 가장 많이 이루어지고 있었으며 유치원에 비치된 자료나 시설이 풍부함에도 불구하고 기자재의 사용이 거의 이루어지지 않고 있는 것이 문제점으로 나타났다.
셋째, 음악프로그램 중에서는 아마데우스와 오르프 음악프로그램에 대한 호응도가 높았다. 유아의 음악교육 면에서는 건반교육이 큰 비중을 차지하였으며 많은 수의 교사들이 유아의 정서 및 창의성 발달에 유아음악교육의 목적을 두고 있음에도 불구하고 유아음악 프로그램이 제대로 실시되지 못하고 있었다.
설문조사 결과 대구지역의 유치원들은 유아음악 교육에 대한 중요성의 인식이 아직은 부족함을 알 수 있었다.
위의 결과에 비추어 다음과 같이 유아음악 교육의 개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
첫째, 우리 나라에 있는 음악프로그램은 거의 다 외국의 것을 많이 받아 들여온 것이기 때문에 하나의 유아음악 프로그램을 사용할 경우 그 프로그램의 장·단점을 잘 파악하여 우리 나라 유아들의 정서와 환경에 맞게 수정 보완해 가며 학습을 진행시켜야 할 것이다.
둘째, 기존의 유아음악교육 프로그램은 교육 대상인 유아의 수가 4～8명 정도인데 비해 우리 나라의 유아음악교육 기관은 이런 학생의 수로는 그 기관의 운영이 어려워질 수밖에 없기 때문에 유아음악교육이 잘 이루어지기 위해서는 기관 운영의 보조, 충분한 교사의 충원 등 국가적인 지원이 있어야 할 것이다.
셋째, 학습교구도 저렴한 가격으로 유아들이 다양한 음악교육을 받을 수 있도록 대중화되어야 한다.
넷째, 교사스스로 유아음악 교육의 중요성을 인식하고 다양한 유아음악 프로그램의 전문교육을 받을 수 있도록 해야할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently, attentions on music education for child is increasing because of the studied result revealed that the music education would devote to the child's emotion and intelligence development. But the recognition on the importance and development of precise pedagogy for the education is lack, which have resulted applying the monotonous repeat of the methodology in most of child education institution. So, recognizing the importance, this thesis aims to announce and realize the newly developed pedagogy toward the 21st century in child music education for the teachers of the field.
This study first overview the existing literatures on theoretical background, applied theory of child music education methodology, and the contents for the child music education generally and constructed an questionnaire to survey the field realities at the institutions. The result of the analysis is as follows.
First, in the aspect of qualification of the teacher, many kindergarten classes are short of teachers who majored in child music though their interest in the child music education was considerably high.
Second, in the aspect of learning materials, keyboard practice is most frequent in the field and education materials prepared in the class were enough in quantity but the effective utilization of it was little and raise a problem
Third, teacher's preference on the music education program showed high in Amadeous and Orff music program. The keyboard practice education for child was highest score and education method aspect and there was little education practice for the development of child's emotion or creativity in spite of the important aim of the education, which lacks normal child music education program.
The result of the survey revealed that there are short of recognition on the importance of child music education in kindergarten of Daegu area.
Now, following suggestions are selected to improve the child music education.
First, as most of the music education programs were imported from foreign companies that it is urgent to modify it and to improve to adjust for the education situation of Korea when it is applied and utilized in the field. For example, finding out the merits and defects of the program should be examined, and the program should be modified and complemented to meet the Korean child emotion and education environment in the class learning.
Second, the existing music education program is hypothesize the learning number of student as 48 but it is difficult in Korean class environment because of economic size of the institution that governmental support policy such as financial support, qualified teacher supply for the child education is necessary for better and effective child music education.
Third, learning media and materials should be supplied in lower price for the public music education.
Forth, teachers should recognize the importance of the music education during childhood and get more specialized and various child music education.
As to the result of the analysis, the importance of the early music education for child should be recognized for the talent development and we have to supply more abundant learning environment for the child.
