There are two purposes of this study. One is to research the difference about daycare teacher's job stress and job satisfaction depending on their social anthropologocal variables. And another one is to analyze the relationship between daycare teacher's job stress and their job satisfaction. To measure the degree of the stress at work, questionnairs for factors of stress at work, composed by Clark(1980), and revised by Kang Hye Kyoung(2002) are used and to measure the degree of the at work and to measure the degree of the satisfaction at work, questionnairs for factors of satisfaction at work, composed by Galloway(1982) and revised by Do Sun-Nam(1999) are used and to measure the degree of the satisfaction at work
For these, study questions are set as the following :
1. Does job stress vary with daycare teacher's social anthropological variables(age, marital status, educational level, career, the number of daycare center's children, children's age)?
2. Does job satisfaction vary with daycare teacher's social anthropological variables(age, marital status, educational level, career, the number of daycare center's children, children's age)?
3. What relationship is in daycare teacher's job stress and their job satisfaction? In December, 2003, teachers in daycare centers located in Dae-gu, participated in the survey for this study. The survey by questionnaires was analyzed by correlation analysis of Anova and Pearson.
The conclusions of this study are following that:
Firstly, there are meaningful differences in job stress depending on daycare teacher's social anthropological variables.
Secondly, there are meaningful differences in job satisfaction depending on daycare teacher's social anthropological variables.
Thirdly, there is negative correlation with job stress and job satisfaction.
